I'm still on the high from Will and Way, and even though I read 2 books after their duet, I wasn't ready to say goodbye. Still Beating was the perfect novella to give me just a little more of the boys.
Picking up exactly where If There's A Way left off, and we see how Will and Way are recovering and moving on from the end of the second book. While short, it still intimately and delicately handled traumas and MH, nonlinear healing, and family. I love these two and their relationship so much. I could read dozens of books about them and it would never be enough. If you haven't read these, do yourself a favor and add them to your TBR.
This was a great novella giving us a bit more of the “happier” times with Way and Will -happier in quotes because of course it isn’t perfect or easy for them due to the ongoing daily struggles people with PTSD and addiction have. Again I can’t wait to see what’s next for all these boys.

Will and Waylon will forever have a special spot in my heart. And I didn’t realize how much I needed this last book.
It felt so refreshing.
I swear I’m hooked to Will and Way and I can’t get enough of it. I’m creating fanfics in my head and imagining myself to be a friend that watches them live their best life. This Novella pulled all kinds of strings in my heart. Thank you Jessie.
Will and Way remain *the* best couple and I'm so, so, sooooo glad we get a look into how they function as a long-distance couple. In this novella, Waylon, Mason and Shawn are in LA recording their album. Will is holding down the bar in Shiloh, counting down the hours until he has Way in his arms again. Three more days isn't that long, right? But when something- someone - breaks, three days seems like eternity.
Sweet, emotional, steamy, funny and really touching - this novella packs a heck of a punch for such a short book. I loved every page and am so grateful that we didn't have to wait any longer to check with the Lost Boys.
