Description

Ross has spent his entire life feeling like an outsider. Born a rare bunny shifter in a pack defined by toxic strength and rigid expectations, he has spent years looking for a place where he can simply breathe. When he catches wind of Collier Cover—a magical, warded sanctuary hidden away from the dangers of the shifter world—he doesn't hesitate to stake his claim on a fresh start. Hutton, a rugged bear shifter, prefers his solitude and has no interest in revisiting the small-town roots he long ago outgrew. But when a persistent aunt wears down his defenses, he finds himself back in Collier Cover for a long, reluctant summer. What starts as a mandatory visit quickly turns into life-altering chaos when he crosses paths with Ross, his fated mate. There is just one problem: Ross is terrified of the apex predator staring back at him. As sparks fly and instincts clash, the two must navigate a whirlwind of meddling family members, an unexpected heat, and the life-changing surprise of an impending family addition. In a town built on magic and tradition, Ross and Hutton must learn that sometimes the most unlikely pairings are the ones destiny intended all along.

Nice story

Ross is so sweet and accepting to everyone despite what he grew up around. Hutton does not "people" and prefers to stay that way. Enter Fate! It takes some wooing from Hutton to make things right after their not meet cute. I really liked both characters and of course the supportive friends from earlier stories. The only thing that sticks out is they are unable to tell designation and shifter type from scent. All other shifter books I read, the scent gives way to both. It does not detract from the story and the HEA with many, many adorable babies.

A fun read

This story was really cute. Poor Ross was really scared of Hutton initially, but Hutton was very sweet and patient in his approach to their relationship. I loved Hutton’s aunt and uncle too, they were a nice addition to the story. I was laughing about the babies though because I didnt even think about Ross being a bunny and how he wouldnt just do one at a time! It was a fun read.

Sweet and fluffy

A sweet story with some angst for sure and a bear who wants his mate right now! Hutton is a bear shifter who doesn't like to mingle with others and Ross an omega bunny who has had a very traumatic upbringing. An aunt and Uncle who want to be a part of everything and a bunch of new, gossipy friends made for a good read and a whole clutch of sweet bunnies for a great HEA.
