Description

The stage lights burn brighter than the ancient fire coursing through Julian’s veins, but fame is a hollow comfort when his heart remains tethered to a man who shouldn't exist. As the lead singer of a band teetering on the edge of global stardom, Julian is accustomed to the roar of the crowd, yet he feels nothing compared to the primal, magnetic pull of Elias. Elias is not merely a lover; he is a creature of legend, a dragon hidden in plain sight, struggling to reconcile his mythical heritage with a modern world that has no place for his kind. In this second installment of the Sins of Balthier series, the stakes shift from the personal to the cataclysmic. As they navigate the complexities of their forbidden bond, they must confront the lingering shadows of their pasts and the encroaching greed that threatens to consume everything they have built. This story weaves together the high-octane energy of the rockstar lifestyle with a rich, immersive paranormal mythology where the line between humanity and divinity blurs. It is a haunting exploration of devotion, identity, and the heavy price of belonging to someone who is destined to outlive the world itself.

The greed of ruin

I was super excited to read this book after reading the first one in the series. This author has the ability to draw you into the book, and you feel like you're living it out. I always feel like I'm a part of the story. And who doesn't love dragons?. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ghreiden, brother of Mezerath, the king of Sauria, is assigned to rule and rebuild a war torn territory to make it prosperous again. Fated to meet, surviving on a deserted ship wreck while waiting for the war to end, guarding the ship's treasure in hopes of buying his freedom, evil priests, sometimes your savior is someone you never expected, brother antics, meggs
