Reconnecting and finding so much more
I absolutely adored Trey and Hudson. I always love seeing real life diagnosis in books and even better when they are familiar with it because you can feel that in a story even if you don't have first hand knowledge of it. I hated the Hudson was so scared for anyone to find out about his diagnosis but I love how Trey took it in stride.
Hudson was so sweet and so scared. I hated that even when the conversation needed to include something linked to his diagnosis he was still so afraid to speak up. Trey only wanted to know how to best support him. I do understand why he was afraid to be placed in a box or seen as less than he is. His mother definitely feed that fear.
I loved and hated Trey. His obsession with his image and what others might thing really annoyed me. I mean seriously all of your friends have gotten together and they are all men. You are attending events for a wedding for two of these men. I understand it was new but also just wanted to smack him. However, I absolutely love him with Hudson. He is quick to take the information he learns and fit into what will work best for outings and even family events.
I love the way these two slowly discover what they like and want. From a simple this doesn't have to mean anything to this absolutely means something and I want more. I love reading the awakenings and first times in stories like this. The spice helped move the story along and I definitely enjoyed it.
I love seeing the other couples from previous books and how…
