Description

Cam Carpenter swore she was done with her hometown, but forty years of estrangement vanish the moment she returns to lay her mother to rest. Seeking solace, Cam finds herself in the arms of a captivating stranger, only to discover the morning after that the woman is Shiloh Sampson—the daughter of the girl who shattered Cam’s heart decades ago. For Shiloh, the return of this prodigal daughter is strictly business; she is tasked with securing a commission on the sale of Cam’s family home. But the professional distance they attempt to maintain quickly erodes under the weight of an undeniable attraction. Just as their lives begin to tangle in ways neither expected, a literal tornado tears through the property, reducing the house to rubble and unearthing long-buried secrets about Shiloh’s mother. Across the debris, old wounds are forced into the light. With her past laid bare by the storm and her future suddenly uncertain, Shiloh finds herself turning to the one person who knows how to survive the wreckage. Tornado is a poignant, atmospheric drama exploring the endurance of love, the heavy cost of forgiveness, and the courage it takes to build something new among the ruins of the past.

Thunderstruck!

That's how this book will leave you. This book has just enough mystery, suspense, and romance to keep you turning the pages. Every time I thought I knew where the plot was headed, the story took another turn. If you enjoy romance, wrapped in intrigue and covered with a heavy dose of family drama, this is the book for you.

No good

Would have been a great book but they had to do sleeping with mom and then sleeping with the daughter, totally ruined it for me. No clue why they would even put it in the book, it was just totally disgraceful for me. Next time think about the people reading it and don't put those kinds of things in the book.

Very enjoyable read

This is a good book. The characters are interesting and likable except for the mother and brother who had mental illness. Interesting read.
