I love this paperback version- the font and page texture is great and it includes photos!!!
This is my favorite read of 2026 by a long shot. I immediately ordered this physical copy for my bookshelf within minutes of reading. Gorgeous, heart wrenching, stunning. The story was beautiful, the writing had me engrossed and unable to set this book down. My sleep score last night is at an all time low thanks to this book. I found some of the most beautiful quotes period. Every bit of romance that you felt missing from Heated Rivalry was in this story. I felt absolutely everything down to my soul!!
Pro:
- you feel and see every single bit of love that Luck and Ellis have for each other. The silent yearning was just absolutely perfect. I found myself in a constant state of tears for almost this entire book.
- the spicy scenes were so tasteful and well-written! They didn’t feel like rushed smut just because. You truly could see how much these characters absolutely love and yearn for one another through their touch. I find this to be such a rare quality in books that have smut. Usually it’s either good smut or good plot, but this had both.
- the writing. The absolutely fantastic things these characters said. I highlighted so many freaking parts of this book. The things they said were just soul deep, poetic, and stunning.
