All hail Sara Cate, the queen of the throuple. Let me first RAVE about the audio of this book. It's a full cast done in duet style but the main three narrators Brandon Francis, Simone Lewis and Teddy Hamilton are all OUTSTANDING. Extra special shout out to Brandon Francis who has to perform a panic attack scene that left me with tears in my eyes. They all did such an amazing job. 𝟔. They start as strangers, and then after 12 hours stuck in an elevator, become something more. Julian, Archer and Freya open up to each other in that elevator in ways that link them to each other forever. Conflicted, complex, and complicated characters comprise all Sara Cate’s books. What could be a better meet-cute than to have 3 chipped and chiseled characters become trapped when a power outage leaves them within an old elevator in a Parisian building where 2 of them reside? What started as a fiery chef catering for a wealthy family’s anniversary, confronts the wealthy son of the anniversary couple, a son who has threatened to fire her, ignites into flames of passionate concern when an anxiety attack begins. All 3 find a shared focus, concern, and attraction. After 12 hours sharing fears, concerns, and hopes, relationship connections begin strand by strand weaving an intricate and complicated Union. Because the characters are so visceral, all flawed, all perfectly imperfect, they perceive in each others what remains invisible to others for each of them share such similar doubts, fears, and desires. Cate’s books deliver characters that connect and expose the craved connections humans need and desire. Loved all 3 of these characters, Julian, Freya, and Archer.

Ever since I read The Good Girl Effect I"ve been eagerly counting down the days until I had this book in my life. We're back in the Salacious Legacy world, baby!! And oh what a delicious treat it was! I loved The Rule of Three! Freya, Julian, and Archer's journey had me absolutely hooked! From the unforgettable way that these three were brought together to the deeper connections and feelings that grew between them, I fell so in love with them! Julian, Archer, and Freya had me feeling all kinds of feels, blushing, and utterly consumed by their layers. I'll just be over here forever heart eyes over Archer, Julian, and Freya! 😍 Sara Cate lit up my world like the Eiffel Tower with this incredible MMF romance! I'm wishing for my own Paris elevator moment. Get ready to blush and fall hard for Julian, Archer, and Freya!🗼💚 Check out the author's content warning. Hmm excuse me but did you say MMF romance, yes please!! 🥵 That meet cute in the elevator was absolutely perfection and I love how they ended up getting to know each other and connecting on a deeper level while stuck in there. It's like an accelerated few dates in just one since they were stuck in there for like 12h I think. Lucky Freya with those 2 hot billionaires! I really enjoyed the story and how all 3 were good together. They really complemented each other and I didn't see anything wrong with the MM romance and intimacy they had. This is not a girl that has 2 boyfriends only interested in her. Instead the boyfriends are also boyfriends so it's normal that they would have time alone together without her and I didn't see anything wrong with that. They were all honest with each other and that is what is important. I love how there was mental health representation with anxiety but also there was a lot of self doubt and issues that each character had to get through to feel confident being in a throuple. Now let's talk about the spice because it was definitely spicyyyyy!! There was definitely some k!nk exploration and omg not just 1 but 2 gold3n show3r sc3nes.. I was expecting that since Sara Cate mentioned it on social media haha but ya that was definitely very interesting. 🎧 Now what was even better was the audiobook! What do you get when you have a fiery chef, a wealthy street fighter, and a billionaire spicy club owner stuck in an elevator.... a recipe for a spicy and delicious romance read! Sara does it again and delivers another emotional and addicting story! I love her writing style! Freya, Julian, and Archer were absolutely made for each other! There is so much depth to these characters and the mental health representation throughout the book was handled beautifully! The characters are relatable and deal with issues such as anxiety and depression, fear of not being good enough, fear of not succeeding, and pushing people away because they're afraid. Each character has issues they eventually work through and it was messy, real and hard but so rewarding. They each bring a different dynamic into their relationship and I enjoyed it immensely! Their chemistry was smoking hot! They guys were so patient with Freya and that was so special. I love that we got to experience them all together and also individually too to show how they each connected and needed something different from each other. The k!nk exploration was fun and exciting although I do wish there would have been more scenes at the club. Still, I enjoyed their chemistry no matter where it was taking place. I felt the balance between spice and plot was perfect. There is a third act scene that each of them contributed to and really just can’t seem to get out of their own heads but luckily they recover quickly and realize…
