Description

The uprising is in full swing, and for once, the sidelines aren’t safe enough for a snarky pirate like me. When a sinister organization starts hunting down dino shifters, staying out of the fray becomes impossible. My mission to protect my kind takes a disastrous turn, however, when I find myself incapacitated, trapped, and held hostage in an abandoned garage. Things go from bad to complicated when my rescuers turn out to be the two people I never wanted to see again: my exes. Jatel is a hulking giant who masks his lingering resentment with protective posturing, while Rad, the lethal, glittery ninja I ghosted months ago, is still nursing a grudge. Forced into a tight spot, these two aren’t just bickering over my past mistakes—they are developing an intensity of their own that leaves me reeling. As we traverse the humid, dangerous streets of New Orleans searching for ancient relics to end the conflict, the romantic tension between us shifts in unexpected ways. Faced with a world spiraling into chaos, I’m forced to confront my own flighty heart. Can I trade my solo pirate life for a bond with two men who challenge everything I thought I knew about commitment?

.

Such a wonderful series. It’s ended beautifully. These three were great together. This book was more action packed than the others, and it was good. I love how we got all our answers. Though, I wish we got Killian and Beau’s pov of Killian getting his memories back, which whooooa what a shock 😳 with how that all went down.

Good triad

The Lost Relics is the last book in DK Sutton's Dino Uprising trilogy. It certainly ended the series on a high note. Fast paced, fun read. Sutton wraps up all the dangling plot lines, and throws in some unexpected twists. This is Pirate Walter's story. In book one, he seemed a bit sinister. Book two, he was slippery as an eel, not trustworthy, and annoying as all get out. A lot of attitude is poured into that three foot eleven form, topped by that annoying pirate hat. He still got on my nerves, even though Sutton made him a bit "deeper" and less snarky. I liked his mates better. Jatel, the "gentle giant" goon of Jacobs, was his lover while Walter was working for Jacobs. They also had history, an on and mostly off relationship for +/- 300 years. Flirty Rad, Austyn's shop assistant, was a sweet ball of uncertainty. Our triad had the support of the main characters from the other books. A bit of intrigue, a bit of danger and the odd kidnapping, the story definitely kept my attention. The good guys got their HEAs. The baddies got their just desserts. I totally cheered at Petroni's. I received an advanced copy from the author and this is my review.

Ending to dino series

This was an enjoyable series from a different point of view of dino shifters. This last one ended with Walter (the miniature pirate) getting his due. Through the prior two stories we learned of his ex Jaytel and saw his constant flirting with Rad. The three of them all different personalities that influence the adventure that they are on. There were some crazy twists in this story and some enjoyable throuple times. All in all, this was an enjoyable series.

Loved it

The Lost Relics is the third and final book in The Dino Uprising series. In my opinion this series is best read in order. This is the story of Walter a pirate dino shifter, Jatel a gentle giant, and Rad the sparkly ninja. I couldn't wait to read this book because I really wanted to know more about Walter and why he was so snarky. These three needed each other to be complete. I loved the characters and world building that went into this series. I really enjoyed it and hate seeing it end. We get plenty of action, steam, danger, and answers. This was a great ending to an amazing series. I would definitely recommend this book and series.
