Description

In a vast, unforgiving galaxy where biology dictates destiny, Kaelen exists as a cosmic anomaly: the last of his kind. As an Omega, he is a creature of immense rarity and sensitivity, thrust into a precarious existence that leaves him vulnerable to those who would claim him as a prize. For years, he has fought to remain invisible, navigating the treacherous fringes of space to escape the scrutiny of hierarchies that view him as nothing more than a biological asset. Everything changes when his path crashes into the Naleusians, a race of formidable, enigmatic beings whose culture is as wild as the stars they inhabit. As Kaelen is drawn into their sphere of influence, he faces the terrifying possibility that his survival may require surrendering the autonomy he has guarded so fiercely. Against the backdrop of a meticulously crafted, sprawling universe, he must confront the harsh realities of power, desire, and the bonds that defy traditional classification. Lilo Quie delivers a gripping tale of identity and connection that pushes the boundaries of the genre. With intricate world-building and a deeply emotional, character-driven plot, this story invites readers to explore a future where the heart’s deepest cravings are just as dangerous as the vacuum of space.

Nice blend of plot and spice

Fantastic world build here, truly got sucked in. It's been ind of tricky to find good mm scifi romance or as one of the characters would say, "space smutt". Nice read, only caveat would be that the character grow too quickly, really could have spread it over longer, potentially more books. but all in all a good one. hope to read more...

I’m normally a fast reader but I had to slow down to understand some of the technical details of story. Otherwise it good reading.

Space Dragons!

Another wonderful and wild world from Lilo! I absolutely loved the world building in this new series and I am so excited to see more from some of the side characters in this series eventually! This book also hit a lot of nostalgia feelings for me as it reminded me in some ways of older sci-fi series I read growing up.

the ending…

What a strange ending. What a strange story. Was there a beginning, middle and end? It felt like the beginning the entire time. I can’t even really understand what happened.

Really 4.5

This had lots of stuff to love. Cool alien biology. Heat level a 3/5 with knitting and biting with plenty of smexy times. I wish the 2 MC’s had more time on page for their emotional evolutions. It would have been nice to see that. Which is why I took a 1/2 star away. But over all good plot, interesting read with some spice too it.
