Description

Welcome to the high-stakes, drama-filled world of The Final Rose, where reality television gets a sharp, affectionate, and hilarious makeover. When cynical protagonist Elena begrudgingly agrees to participate in a blockbuster dating competition, she expects predictable producers, staged rivalries, and enough champagne to drown her skepticism. She certainly doesn’t expect to find her heart caught in the middle of a genuine, electric connection that transcends the script. As the cameras roll and the petals fall, the lines between manufactured television and authentic emotion begin to blur. Eliza Lentzski crafts a sparkling narrative that pokes fun at the absurdity of reality dating tropes while delivering a grounded, deeply human romance. At its core, this is a story about discovering vulnerability in the most unlikely of places. Whether you are a fan of guilty-pleasure reality shows or simply looking for a witty, character-driven story, this book delivers. With a cast of vibrant, relatable personalities and a refreshing bisexual lens, The Final Rose is a fun, page-turning escape. It is the perfect read for anyone who enjoys sharp banter, slow-burn tension, and the surprising ways that love can bloom even under the harsh glare of the studio lights.

Fresh and Fun Story

*Review Contains Spoilers* The plot for The Final Rose is fresh and brilliant. Navigating through a complex and dramatic setting, the chemistry between the two women is intriguing and enticing. The story provokes enough to keep turning pages to see how their romance blossoms. However, when it does, it falls flat for me--with the ending feeling rushed, as well. Nokomis is one of the more frustrating characters I've read and she unfortunately doesn't disappoint when Lee pours her heart out to her. The pine cone scene is absolutely perfect--and ruined for no reason other than wanting the readers to get annoyed with the main character once again. Nokomis lacks real character growth, which creates unnecessary drama in the plot, and has me questioning why such a sweet character such as Lee would want to be with Nokomis entirely. But overall, the story and the characters are fun and likeable, and the book is well-written. I would recommend it.

This story was perfectly romantic

I loved the plot and spent the entire story wondering how the author would pull it off. I didn't guess and it was flawless. Loved it. Sex was sexy as hell. Romance was very romantic. I kept hoping the bachelor would have asked Noko and Lee for that 2 on 1 date and he got to watch the girls kiss or something but that would have ruined the great ending. Thanks for a really good read.

Very entertaining

This was a very pleasant surprise of a story! The summary pretty much explains most of what this book contains, so I'll mention that there is such a wonderfully well built up romance, that came across as believable. You begin to care so deeply for these characters that you almost feel what they do. Note: there are a few mildly graphic moments, but I wouldn't describe this book as erotic. Great story!

I wish there was more

I think this book was okay. I really enjoyed reading about the challenges scenery, and the very staged aspects of the show. But I wish there had been… more from the characters. I felt like we barely scratched the surface of Nokomis, Lee and even Candice. This isn't to say there weren't sweet/cute moments, but I wish there were… more. Or that the development felt deeper. Overall, I did enjoy the premise. I always find these stories interesting, seeing how the author shows the characters falling in love in such a public and staged setting.
