good read
Third book in the series. All entertaining and worth the read.
They all have a third act “I need space to figure things out” that is getting a little old and then mad dash to “I love you” that feels a little rushed for some of the couples….but this friend group is cute and it’s nice to watch them all get their HEA.

This is a modern queer romance, the third book in a series that should be read in order. Have you ever had such a turning point moment in your youth that affects the rest of your life? That’s what happened between Rome and Liam! A couple decades later they encounter each other with hate, but Rome has a quirky idea to get back at Liam which changes both their lives! Such a good book!

The series that should never end
I have not read a series I've enjoyed more. I want it to continue with a few more episodes. JD is one of my favorites!

The HEA we all deserve
The was an easy but slow read. I found it endearing at times heart breaking at times, but I'm glad that these two friends were able to reconnect.
Having Rome set this stipulation for the donation seems diabolical but it got them to a place where Liam was able to finally get his feelings out. I'm was really glad for the catharsis.
This only gets 4 stars because Liam's rapid acceptance of himself seemed too easy. All or most of that inner turmoil happens when the chapter focuses on Rome. We readers aren't privy to what Liam says, only that he took his questions to someone else.
I do like that Rome and Liam have support systems, and that through a sneaky way, Liam was able to talk to someone else about the other conflict the arises. It's a subtle lesson that all of us should never try to figure things out completely alone. Having community helps.
The endings, there were two, were lovely grand gestures of thoughtfulness. One was public and appealed to Rome in a way that brought joy to others and another that was sooo romantic. I really loved them both. Liam and Rome have a great HEA.
