I have never read a plot about a voice narrator for audio books before. I also love me a good best friends to lovers troupe with a bi awakening added in. This book had some great troupes and the spice was just right 🔥🔥🔥. Especially chapter 10, when they first got acquainted with each other…

Well, that was a fun ride!! I went from kicking my feet up in giggles to whaaaat I did not see that one coming!! This was best friends-to-lovers at it's finest. Logan and Ryder were so great together. The banter, the camaraderie, the friendship love, the hugs, the cuddles, the weekly friend dates, and weekend rituals. I mean, come on, these two were born to be together. So when the feelings turned from friendship love to something more, they just fit together so perfectly and moved into an intimate relationship almost seamlessly. Now I say almost!! Because holy cow. Ryder and Logan had a lot to deal with as their friendship turned intimate. Ryder is a narrator for spicy MM Audiobooks who finds himself with an over obsessed fan. And let me tell you, I was on the edge of my seat trying to read faster and ignoring real life so I could find out what was going to happen!! The suspense had me. I loved every minute of it!! I haven't read a book like this in a bit, so this was a refreshing change of pace, and it was so much fun to read. Ps... Chapter 10. *phew*, Chapter 10 🥵 Pss... This is the authors debut novel and its so good!! I'm excited to see what comes next!!

I’m genuinely blown away that this is the author’s debut novel! Honestly, I’d be impressed even if it weren’t—this MM romance stands out with a plot that goes beyond the usual tropes. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy those lighter, familiar romances too, but books like this—with depth and a strong storyline—are far more rare. I loved watching the romance unfold while also being pulled into the suspenseful stalker subplot. The storytelling is tight, the pacing works, and the concept—especially having a character who’s an MM audiobook narrator—is so creative. As someone who totally gets the appeal of falling for a narrator’s voice (minus the stalker vibes!), this angle really worked for me. If this ever gets an audiobook version, I beg you to consider either Christian Fox and/or Adam Gold. They’re both phenomenal and have done MM romance. A story like this—especially with a narrator-about-a-narrator plot—needs someone with that level of talent to pull it off. Looking forward to future books from this author. Ive got the one she co-authored that just came out today ready to start as soon as I’m done this review.

This was such a fun story. I love a good best friends to lovers trope, especially when the angst is low. Logan and Ryder only tiptoed around their feelings for little bit before the tension snapped. The suspenseful stalking plot was a fun twist to a normally fluffy trope. The audiobook was a also fun, especially since Ryder is an audiobook narrator.
