Great First of 3 Volume Series Cartoon Character Story!!
This is my first ever reading of this style of story. The character art on the front cover should tell all readers about the nature of this Gay Romance Novel. Twoony - who chooses not to make "their" gender known, and which is really annoying to me personally - has created two really interesting, and eventually rather endearing main characters in Prince Aron and his arch nemesis, the overachiever, Quinton.
Twoony fills in a substantial amount of "background" dialogue / thought processes during the entire book, AND the writer chooses to use an extremely small font size for her publications. Vol 1 is 279 pages long, but in "normal" book font print size, much easier on the eyes, it could easily add another 100 pages. This font size if SUPER small!!! (Personally I would much rather prefer a 379 - 400 page book in much larger font size (like most books) to be so much easier on one's eyes.
These 2x teenage boys are both 16 years of age, & the prince is used to other teenagers submitting and behaving submissively towards him........ until he encounters Quinton, who for starters refuses to surrender his classroom seat for the prince. This is just the beginning of their tumultuous interaction.
Several physical brawls erupted between them, until one fight one day sparked additional flames in both young adults!!
Aron has a roommate at boarding school, who also plays a growing roll in the story. There are also several additional, auxiliary characters, all adding flavor to this…
