Another badass widow!

These ladies amaze me! After years of abuse and escaping a sex trafficking ring, Silva is co owner of a club and the ultimate bartender. She is fierce and doesn’t put up with anything, including nosy alphas looking for her as Harlan found out. lol Sheriff Syrus is finally making his moves on his crush, and then the alphas and hidden omega appear who have been looking for Silva as a reported missing omega. What they found was scent matches, kidnapping, murder and mayhem. Silva gets her justice in so many ways, even helping orchestrate a mass rescue! Again, so my blood and stabby endings. Dark, lethal, sexy and so hot in so many ways! Another hard earned HEA for this pack. Enjoy!

A Dark and Spicy Omegaverse!

4.5⭐ Silva is one of six omegas who were taken by Gideon and had escaped before they were sold off. They ran off and found an abandoned town which they named Widows Peak. Harlan, Isidro and Kyren are new to Widows Peak in search of Silva and Lexi. Syrus is the sheriff of Widows Peak and has had a crush on Silva for years. I loved Silva! She’s a caretaker at heart and does everything for the people in Widows Peak. She’s fierce and headstrong and a little bit of a psycho. I wouldn’t change anything about her. I loved that they all banded together to take down Gideon and together made him and the beta’s who worked for him suffer. They thoroughly deserved it. I liked how Isidro just stood by and made small, funny comments here and there as he watched them take Gideon and the beta’s down. I loved the friendship she has with the other Widows and how supportive they are of one another. I enjoyed the relationship Silva slowly develops with Harlan and Kyren after a poor first meeting. Silva is full of banter, spice, suspense and psycho omegas! I enjoyed every second of this book!

Dark and spicy omegaverse why choose!

4.5 stars! Silva is a super spicy, why choose, omegaverse romance that delivers everything you want and more. Part of the Beware the Widows series (from multiple authors), Silva takes place in an overlapping timeline with book 1, Lexi, and features some overlapping and intertwined plot points and scenes. That said, you don’t have to have read Lexi for this story to stand on its own (but Lexi is also great, and I highly recommend it). That said, Silva is slightly darker, a bit more graphic (in multiple ways), and more intense than Lexi overall, as well. Silva and Lexi are twin sisters, trapped in a nightmare foster care situation that they escaped as soon as they turned 18, only to find themselves trafficked into an even worse situation - which they were eventually able to escape from with 4 other women, and establish a remote community that protects and supports omegas specifically, but also any other person in need of help or protection. Widows Peak is a tight community, and strangers are clocked instantly. Silva is a workaholic, loved by everyone, and finally after 10 years in Widows Peak, finally taking a chance on love with the town Sheriff Syrus (a beta, and her best friend who has been part of the community for 6 years). But when Harlan, Kyren, and Isidro show up, things go sideways in a way she never expected. Harlen and Kyren are Alphas, and Silva initially wants nothing to do with them and states such in no uncertain terms. Isidro isn’t Alpha, but he’s with them,…

Silva was absolutely phenomenal!

This book was so good, but it definitely contains some dark themes and scenes so please check the triggers and take care of yourself! Silva is the second book in the Beware of the Widows series and pairs very well with the first book, Lexi. Silva and Lexi are twins who had awful experiences in foster care and then escaped only to be recaptured and trained with the intent to sell them to the highest bidder. After their escape, they set up Widow's Peak to be a haven for omegas. When new alphas come to town looking specifically for Silva, she is almost certain that there's trouble brewing, but when some of them are connected to Silva and Lexi, it makes life much more complicated. Syrus, Kyren, Isidro, and Harlan have their work cut out for them to prove themselves to Silva, who tries to keep almost everyone at arm's length. This book absolutely broke my heart. There was so much that even Lexi didn't know about what Silva endured especially at the hands of their foster brothers. She was willing to surrender so much in order to protect Lexi and even after they escaped she carries so much guilt for the omegas that were left behind when the widows ran from Gideon. Syrus is the beta sheriff who has been smitten with Silva since they met. Now, they are finally ready to take the next step in their relationship when Isidro, Kyren, and Harlan roll into town. Syrus and Silva are absolutely adorable together and I love the way that he backs her decisions and protects her when it seems…

Could have skipped. Good spice no substance

It wasn't bad. But I felt myself growing bored. If you read the first book then sometimes it felt like this book was just redundant. I think I'd have liked it more if they spent just a bit more on relationships. It went from heat to love. And prior to that it was a vague "we'll show you with our actions" plan...but the plan ended up being half-painting a house before BAM heat. Spice was significant and I did like that. Which is good since it was about 40% spice 40%torture 15% redundant and 5% relationship building. I would say if you want spice, triggers, and random use of "Daddy" go for this book...if you want spice and more goof and dark lite go for the 1st. But you probably don't need tk read both.
