Description

For the members of the band Lest Is Moore, the stage is a sanctuary and the music is a lifeline, but off-stage, the boundaries are beginning to blur. Will and Ari have navigated life as foster brothers, confidants, and bandmates, but their complicated history is about to shift into something far more intimate. Having weathered the spotlight together, they now find themselves facing a new kind of intensity: the undeniable, electric connection growing between them. As the pressures of fame mount, the lyrics of their songs become a mirror for their unspoken truths. Will is the anchor, the one who refuses to flinch when the world falls apart, while Ari seeks comfort in the quiet, desperate promise of staying. Their journey is a raw, emotional exploration of what it means to transition from chosen family to the person you cannot imagine living without. In this poignant second installment of the series, Rebecca Rathe delves deep into the vulnerability of bisexuality and the terrifying courage it takes to claim the love that has been right in front of you all along. When the noise of the industry fades, Will and Ari must decide if they are ready to turn their partnership into a forever promise.

Worth It

Wonderful. Rebecca writes characters well. She does "taboo-ish" well. She has a unique ability to make u understand ger characters even if u do not like them. I loved Will and Ari. I felt ALL the things in this book. She even got a little political, which was unexpected. But i loved how it was incorporated. If u want a journey, if u want to believe in love prevailing. Please give this book a shot. Well done.

loved it!

I loved this book! all of the back and forth was frustrating don’t get me wrong, but in the best way because it made it feel so real!! I loved to see both Ari and Will put in the effort to make personal changes and MY GOODNESS Wills groveling 😍😍 needless to say I enjoyed reading this book and feeling so connected to these characters I felt like I was a part of the relationship lol! The only reason I’m giving this four starts (would be 4.5 if I could) was because I felt it was a little too political for me, especially towards the end. I felt like it took a little away from the characters love story for me, but everyone’s different and this may add to the book for some of you. I can’t wait to see more of Emmy and Blake and of course Naz and Scott in the next book! Rebecca Rathe you get me every freaking timeee love it!!

THIS BOOK!!!!!!

I adored the storyline for Ari and Will. But honestly the thing that captivated me the most was the presence of very real issues and the unapologetic way they were called out. I also love how this book shows you don't need to sacrifice who you are or those you love to push back and take a stand. This book shows how deep and potent art can truly be.

Angsty rockstar romance

I feel like all my reviews for this author’s books are the same but not in a bad way, just that she is fantastic at doing what she does best. She’s a queen of angst, a master of spice, and always acknowledges the current political climate. You usually want to shake one or both of the MMC’s (Will I’m looking at you here) but by the end, you love them to pieces. My only complaint, and this is totally a personal preference, I don’t love when books in a series so back in time before the first one, it feels very disorienting to me for some reason, but it’s definitely worth powering through.

Great Second Book in this series!

I can’t get enough of these guys in the band! I couldn’t put this one down. Rebecca hit us with the trauma feels right up front. I love how real her books are. The characters have to do the work to get through their issues. It’s never an easy fix, and I appreciate her focus on therapy as a tool to help cope and heal. I hope there will be more books in this series!
