Description

In the wreckage of a life once carefully constructed, love is the most dangerous salvage of all. Salvaged Heart weaves a poignant, emotionally charged narrative that explores the fragility of human connection and the courage it takes to rebuild after a devastating loss. At its core, the story follows complex characters whose lives intersect in unexpected ways, forcing them to confront their deepest vulnerabilities and the boundaries of their hearts. As the protagonists navigate the messy terrain of grief and healing, they find themselves drawn into a multi-layered romance that defies traditional labels. By embracing a bisexual narrative, the book captures the fluidity of desire and the profound beauty of finding soul-deep connection regardless of gender. The journey is equal parts heartbreaking and transformative, echoing the raw reality of falling in love when you least expect—or deserve—it. Readers are invited into a world that feels startlingly intimate, where every stolen glance and quiet confession carries the weight of a lifetime. This is a story for anyone who believes that even the most fractured pieces of ourselves can be mended into something stronger, provided we are brave enough to let someone see the seams.

That epilogue!!!

Every once in a while you get a book that just gives you the chills. This is one of those books. Right from the beginning I was hooked on Beckham and Anders. Beckham was the sweetest thing. I wish everyone like Anders had a Beckham. Someone that sees past the flaws and loves you unconditionally. What I really enjoyed was getting to see the relationship between Beckham and Anders grow. It wasn't instalove or lust. It grew from friendship and was actually genuine. I know they didn't know each other for very long so it can seem like the relationship was rushed but I didn't see it like that. Sometimes in a short period of time, you really can find your person. For me as a reader, an epilogue can make or break a book. Without it, the story never feels finished and I'm left feeling like I wasted my time reading the book. This epilogue gave me everything I needed! For some reason it actually gave me the chills. It won't be like that for everyone, but for me it was a beautiful ending for a beautiful story!!

The ideal blend

This book was one that I happened upon and I’m so glad I did!! The story, the depth, the characters paths that were so expertly weaved together; Anders and Beck were beautiful in their flaws and their strengths. This was a PHENOMENAL first novel. I can’t wait for more!

Raw , emotional, unforgettable

Beckett and Anderson completely stole my heart. Their connection is messy, flawed, complicated… and so incredibly real. Anderson’s pain is bone-deep, the kind that doesn’t go away quietly. Watching him try to navigate his trauma and still reach for love felt like watching someone try to learn how to breathe underwater. And Beckett—God, he’s the kind of patient, persistent presence you want to believe exists. The way he shows up, even when Anderson is unraveling, made me emotional more than once. This story doesn’t shy away from the darkness of addiction. It dives headfirst into trauma, grief, self-destruction, and the long road to healing. But it also offers hope—the kind that feels earned. It reminds you that sometimes love is the messiest, most painful thing in the world… but it’s also what pulls us back from the edge. Savaged Heart is the kind of book that leaves a mark. It’s tender and savage all at once—just like its title. And I’ll be thinking about these characters for a long time to come.

💊🎂You deserve good things, Anders. Let me be your good thing⚒️✏️

"It was almost certainly delusion, but I could have sworn those ocean-blue eyes were fixed on me instead of his girlfriend." "He looked years younger--like each swing had demolished a personal demon instead of fifty-year-old cabinets." "When Beckham smiled, his entire face lit up with joy. And when he smiled at you--when you were the sole focus of that delight--God, it was breathtaking." "Beckham had this pure spirit. He looked at life through rose-tinted glasses at a world full of possibilities. Meanwhile, I was a cynic who saw only what could be lost in any situation." "When did you plan to leave?" "I've had that for over a week now. I could have been long gone already. But this place has been healing me. You, Beckham, have been healing me." "I had a fire burning inside me that threatened to take me under at every turn, and I was fighting it with a cracked bucket full of holes. The harder I tried to put out the flames, the more water sloshed from the sides, and I was left with nothing but an empty bucket, the fire raging like I'd never even tried." "A dark, wild creature stirred in my chest--something I couldn't explain beyond the overwhelming feeling of possession. Mine, it roared." "And that need to see inside the enigma that was Ander Carmichael had become so desperate that I no longer wanted just to know his heart but also carve myself a place in his soul." "I want to flirt openly with you because I'm becoming completely addicted to how your cheeks get all…

This book had me at 'broken bad boy'

I received an advanced copy of this book, and loved it so much I read it twice. Probably because I’m a sucker for broken boys and Anders is such a really well written character that really tugs at your heart strings. Beckham is an all around sweetheart with a white knight complex who is up to the challenge of picking up the pieces of Anders. Together their story is totally unputdownable. The characters are so well rounded you can’t help but fall in love with both of them from the start. This is a sexy first awakening MM romance you want to curl up with and devour.
