Description

Samantha is finished with hiding. After barely clawing her way through her initial trials, she is back and more unhinged than ever, ready to tear down the hierarchy of the Fae world that tried to break her. This installment of the series cranks up the intensity, thrusting our sharp-tongued protagonist into a deadly game where the motives of her allies are just as murky as the intentions of her enemies. If you enjoy your fantasy with a side of chaos, look no further. The banter is razor-sharp—guaranteed to catch you off guard—and the chemistry is crackling, featuring a bisexual lead who refuses to be pigeonholed. As Samantha navigates shifting allegiances and increasingly dangerous power plays, the line between hero and villain blurs until it’s nearly invisible. It is a roller coaster of sassy retorts, pulse-pounding action, and shocking revelations that will leave your jaw on the floor. While the pacing keeps you guessing, the heart of the story remains in the distinct, vibrant voices of its characters. If you are looking for a story that is as addictive as it is unpredictable, follow Samantha as she embraces her inner darkness and proves she is a force to be reckoned with.

This series will always be a favorite of mine. Jasmine has beautifully blended a fast-paced, unhinged, humorous, and immersive fantasy. Sadie and her chaotic men are dragged straight into the fae realm, and every page holds betrayals, power plays, and feral tension that only escalates. Sadie is an idealistic fmc. She's a baddie with equal temper and humor, and she only grows more resilient throughout the book as she refuses to break under the pressure of the Fae Games she is thrown into. Cobra and Jax shine with deeper emotional layers. Ascher (touchy subject) and Xerxes add a compelling new dynamic that ultimately reshapes the series' power structure. (Cobra is my favorite - he's unhinged). The audiobook version of this book only amplifies all the feels... the fast pacing, the emotional spikes, and LOL absurdity. The narrators bring the heroine's sharp wit and feral charm to life with a performance that leans completely into the book's manic, mischievous tone - every line feels like it's teetering between danger and seduction. The male narrations add depth to the fae love interest, capturing his volatile, morally gray nature without ever slipping into caricature. This book is, overall, an addictive listening experience. It's messy, magnetic, and if I'm being honest, impossible to pause.

Wild.. Ridiculous.. COMPLETELY ENTERTAINING!!

⭐ Rating: 4/5⭐ *** IF YOU HAVE NOT READ BOOK #1, MY REVIEW WILL HAVE SPOILERS *** Psycho Fae wastes no time throwing us right back into the chaos—Sadie and her unhinged crew are now stuck under the thumb of a vicious Fae Queen, forced to survive the Fae Games: a brutal, gladiator-style competition full of blood, politics, and psycho fae with a flair for fire. Betrayal still fresh from Ascher’s hand, Sadie and the alphas find themselves fighting for their lives while still trying to make sense of what’s real, what’s right, and who they can trust. This book was somehow even more feral, hilarious, and unhinged than the first—and I was so here for it. If you’re looking for a meticulously crafted high fantasy epic...this ain’t it. But if you love fast-paced, over-the-top, sass-laced chaos with a main character who is 50% bad bitch and 50% hormonal disaster, this book delivers. I genuinely could not stop reading—it’s got that “just one more chapter” syndrome and I was absolutely spiraling. Sadie remains one of my favorite FMCs in romantasy right now. Her inner monologues are downright iconic—she’s awkward, mouthy, unpredictable, and constantly teetering between feral survival and girlhood delusions. She’s giving “I will kill you and then cry about it later,” and honestly, I respect that. She tries to act like she’s on equal footing with her alphas, but she’s also fully aware that she’s flying by the seat of her pants half the time. Her sass is unmatched, and her ability to…

Just As Good The Second Time Around!

Book 2 in one of my favorite series and just as delightful the second time around when I reread it! Sadie is the most relatable FMC, I love a queen who despises running, bc same. The dynamic between all the characters is so fun and hilarious, and this book is just pure entertainment. I love the new audiobook too, it's a full cast with duet style narration and Mollie Stark is the perfect Sadie. I loved every minute of Sadie and Aran being unwell together, Cobra being unhinged, and bringing a new character into the group too. Cannot wait to reread book 3 too!

Could've been better...

*spoilers* Fell in love with the first book, especially with the cliffhanger at the end and then the natural connection with Cobra at the end. The beginning of this 2nd one started smooth but then it just became jumbled as the gang just naturally accepts they're staying at the fae world. It was really hard for me to continue reading with the noticeable repetitions of the author reusing the same lines. The different POV not offering much use of it. It's fine if you use different POVs but make it worth your read with developing new informations. Not feel like redundancy. I'm so upset because I WANTED to love and support this series but these things were hard to overlook. This book felt like an advertisement to her other 3 books, of Fae Academy. I'm just like um we're still not done with Sadie's story yet please 🥲🥹 the different personality change of Sadie was easy to spot too. Progression is fine but not a whole new character... Sad to sad, but I didn't end up picking up the 3rd book and I won't pick up the other 3. I saw this book being constantly advertised on tiktok by sponsered accounts and it would drown my feed so I thought I should take a bite. But now I wish I knew what I know now. Book is still being sponsered down my throat on the feed, but I feel like writing needs to be evaluated first instead of nonstop advertisements. Just know I have love for the characters but ugh the disappointment is REAL 🥹💔 Spice:🌶 Plot:🌱🌱

Jasmine Mas delivers consistently funny, plot heavy books!

Blood of Hercules was the first Jasmine Mas book I read and fell in love with it. It was hilarious and the FMC was easily one of my all time favorites. The audiobook narrator was particularly perfect doing the narration. I decided to give Mas’s first series a try, aka Psycho Shifters, and I was not disappointed. The plot is clever, the FMCs actions, words, and thoughts are so relatable. I enjoy learning about the story through her eyes, it’s just so refreshing to have an FMC that hates running, has bad fashion sense, is awkward and bad at literally everything. Granted she has her moments where she is a bad ass but really she’s barely making in through life and again, so relatable. The MMCs are of course drool worthy. I particularly love the snake man and his psycho love language, which is as hilarious as it is endearing. The pampering sent me. I was like yes, finally, an author gets me and what I fantasize about. Bubble baths and scalp scrubbing. Le’ sigh. Ready to dive into book 3!
