Description

Cameron Cole never asked to be the face of a fanatic cult, a burden pushed onto her by a man she calls father. For years, she played the part, spreading Dale’s wretched gospel just to survive the suffocating grip of his control. But now, Dale has returned to reclaim his throne, and Cameron is finished playing the submissive puppet. To break free for good, she must turn to the one person she never wanted to see again: Sebastian Castillo. As Maine’s top homicide detective and Cameron’s most persistent adversary, Sebastian is the last person she should trust. Yet, as the shadows of her past close in, the air between them thickens with a volatile, undeniable tension. Drawn together by the darkness they both harbor, they find themselves caught in a dangerous game where lines blur and allegiances shift. In this high-stakes continuation of the Unholy Series, Cameron finds herself at the center of an intense, polyamorous connection involving three men and two women. As she fights to reclaim her autonomy, she must navigate a web of trauma, desire, and survival. With the stakes higher than ever, Cameron is forced to decide if she can finally liberate herself, even if it means risking everything to do so.

So good you might need a support group!

I purchased physical and digital copies because I loved it so much! This is book 2 of The Unholy Series. It dives back into the past tramas, dramas, messy emotions and yes, beautifuly kinky beds of Mason, Cameron, Sebastion, Spohia and Lucian. I loved every messy, chaos filled page! My poor husband got a leg workout the first few hours of this book because he kept running up the stairs thinking I hurt myself with all the gasps, yelling and cursing comnig from our room, lol. This author has the amazing ability to highlight all the ways that love exists and how we should meet people where they are, accepting them exactly as they are. Can you say poly swoon?! Add in the plot twists, secrets and kinky goodness and I could not put it down. I can't wait for book 3!

Completely messy yet it works

This story is filled with so much more. More spice with more relationship complexities. More past stories leaving you reeling. More trauma for everyone to deal with. Secrets are mounting and relationships are evolving. All while the baby gets closer to her birth. This books was so good but I seriously hate Dale and I hope he gets his just deserts. There are some huge things that change in this book and I know there is still a plan I place that we know nothing about. I can't wait for the next book.

Better than the first

Please Hate Me had me flummoxed as to whether I liked that book, but of course, there is a book 2. Book two had me interested and liking it more. The poly has me wondering if this is what it is actually like in a poly relationship. The characters here, mainly Mason, is going in different bed every night, where I had imagined one bed, with everyone in it. There seemed to be no worries from the three people not in the bedroom with Mason and whomever, especially with Dale in the picture. No worries of Masons well being, instead, the author never even mentions that Mason could be somewhere hurt, not in another’s bed, safe and sound. No worries about Dale after Cam having figured out he wasn’t a concern to himself anymore. It bothered me all through this book. I loved where this book ended and can’t wait to read Please Open Me.

Stepping stone?

Please Save Me was a good read with a very emotionally packed ending for me. I loved the characters and the reality of the story. Unfortunately, I just found the plot to be repetitive and to me, it felt like the storyline wasn't going anywhere until the end of the book. I am still looking forward to another...possibly....?? and where the storyline goes from here. Please, Erin, send more books our way!!!!!
