Description

Life was finally clicking into place. After years defined by hunger, exhaustion, and righteous fury, I had carved out a sanctuary built on hard work, a resilient kid, and a circle of fiercely loyal friends. I had armor around my heart and a reality I wouldn't trade for anything. Then, four men—Declan, Roman, Felix, and Jared—waltzed into my orbit. What began as an intrusion rapidly evolved into a relentless, high-stakes charm offensive. They chipped away at my defenses with the precision of stalkers and the intensity of lovers, forcing me to confront the vulnerability I’d fought so hard to bury. Just as the walls were beginning to crumble, however, everything shattered. A hidden threat has ripped me away from them, and this time, there is no ignoring text messages or drifting apart. I have been abducted by a masked predator who clearly underestimates his prey. He thinks he’s hunting a woman fighting for scraps, but he has no idea what he’s stirred up. I am no longer defined by my solitude; I am backed by a legion of men who would burn the world to the ground to find me. The gloves are off. Keep my drink cold—I’m coming back for it.

Blue’s Journey: Emotional, Gripping, and Impossible to Put Down

I absolutely loved this duet and never wanted it to end. The story hooked me from the very first book and kept its grip all the way through this one. We pick up right where we left off, Blue kidnapped at the movie theater and her men in full-blown panic mode. Roman, Jared, Declan, and Felix work themselves to the bone chasing down every possible lead. I was shocked when the culprit was revealed, and honestly? He got the ending he deserved but I wish he suffered slowly. Blue has endured more than anyone should, and the hits just keep coming. Her friend group, though, ride-or-die loyal and exactly what she needed. Violet learning the truth about everything Blue faced and sacrificed to raise her was heartbreaking and powerful. The emotional depth throughout this duet was everything. Even when the men finally find her, they know they still have a long road ahead to earn her forgiveness and they’re ready to fight for it. This may be the end of Blue and her four sexy men, but I cannot wait to dive into Violet’s story in the upcoming duet.

Blue 💙

Perfect conclusion to Blue’s story. I love her journey and her strength. I really appreciated the authentic and raw way her story is written about her mental state and her inner fight. But also the depth and strength of each MMC. Her men are so supportive of each other, of her and her daughter. Found family is one of my favorite tropes and this really fit the bill for me. It’s got spice, witty banter, fight, strength, family love, found family, romance, action, and so much more. I highly recommend if you love a story about a strong FMC who’s put through it and fights her way to her happy ending and finds forgiveness for her loves and for herself.

I was prepared for the slow burn but…

…I feel a little jipped. I’m happy about Blue and her guys healing and moving forward healthily, but even after all the grovel and growth, there was minimal spice. Like almost none :( The writing and story telling were great, I just feel like there were some plot holes and inconsistencies that needed to be filled. I look forward to reading other works in the future!

The emotions in these books! I'm here for it!

Can I just say that I absolutely love that this author's work represents actual emotions. Nothing gets sugar coated. Things don't get drawn out or shorted just to wrap it up quickly. The MMCs aren't getting everything they hope to accomplish over & done in just 2 days of trying. It's raw, unfiltered and honest. These characters have those same thoughts and feelings that we might go through. It makes it great to relate to and know that life's issues don't have to be carried out longer than you are comfortable with just because it's expected. The people who need to grovel can, even after you've forgiven them and let go of the anger.

A great trauma healing story

I have devoured everything this author has written so far and this was no exception. I read the whole book in one go and could not put it down. I love Blue even more in this 2nd book. Seeing how she deals with the struggles she goes through internally on the daily and how she finally makes the decisionfor herself to heal from them and work through it.. I identified with her struggle of masking everything inside by making other people happy. To see her deal with these issues and come out the other side gives me such hope and I really felt this deep in my soul. I love the pov we get from violet in this book and the introduction of new side characters I am so intrigued by. I want to see more of them lol For me this 2nd book had low angst and focused more on healing. The author did an amazing job of portraying what that looks like. While there was spice ( and it was definitely spicing) for me the focus was on the after effects of trauma and how it affects everyone, not just the person it happened to. I loved this fact and how relatable and touching it was. I will be sprinting if the author writes anymore stories about the side characters that are introduced. I cant wait to see how much she can make me cry with the next one. It isnt worth reading unless it emotionally traumatizes you right? This is one you should read if you like prior trauma, trauma healing, dark themes, mm, why choose and found family vibes.
