Description

Franchesca “Frankie” Blake has mastered the art of survival as a single mom juggling motherhood, a demanding bartending gig at the local ice rink, and a secret penchant for late-night skating. She has zero room for romance, especially when it involves the arrogant, distractingly attractive beer league hockey players who treat the rink like their second home. But her carefully partitioned life shatters when an unexpected childcare crisis forces her to trust an unlikely pair: Travis, a brooding, rugged carpenter, and Elliot, a sweet-natured, golden-retriever firefighter. What begins as a reluctant favor quickly spirals into an undeniable, electric connection. As best friends, the two men are a package deal Frankie never anticipated needing, let alone craving. Before she knows it, her lonely nights turn into tangled, breathless encounters that defy all her rules. However, the heat between them is interrupted by a creeping dread. A shadow from Frankie’s past has tracked her down, turning her newfound happiness into a target. As a dangerous stalker closes in, Frankie must lean on the very men she vowed to keep at arm’s length. In the high-stakes game of protecting her heart and her family, Frankie discovers that the real danger isn’t falling for both men—it’s surviving the man who wants to take everything away.

Beer league hockey romance!?! Must Read!

Ok Mrs. McCoy I see you and your need to twist trauma and smut into this addicting couple of hundred pages that I can't get enough of. Overtime Positions isn't your normal hockey romance, where you are thinking NHL, this book is like nah boo let's head to the local rink and watch men drink some beer then push a puck around the ice on a weekday night. AND I AM HERE FOR IT. The entire vibe was just what I was needing. From the banter between the characters, the children that have you crying from laughing so hard, to the added suspense that keeps you wondering. Oh and we can't forget the smut, because McCoy well she knows how to write a dang good smutty book. This book really is the perfect start a series. I can't wait to see more from Cedar Bluff and their citizens.

Very spicy. loved it!

Frankie moves back to her hometown with her 2 kids to escape her abusive ex. She meets 2 hockey players and things get wild. This was a great very spicy book. I was starting to think there wasn’t much plot and then about halfway through it got very suspenseful. I really liked it.

Spicy why-choose PERFECTION!

💥📖 𝑅𝐸𝒱𝐼𝐸𝒲 📖💥 𝘖𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘗𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 by A.M. McCoy ⭐️ Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️ Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 𝙃𝙤𝙡𝙮. 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣’. 𝙃𝙚𝙡𝙡. Miss Ma’am. 𝗠𝗔’𝗔𝗠. I don’t even have the vocabulary to express how much I LOVE this book. Good god. This was a straight-up masterpiece. I laughed until my abs hurt, got all hot and bothered, had my heart sucker-punched and thrown on the ice, and then stitched back together in the softest, sweetest ways. The emotional rollercoaster? One of the best rides I’ve been on in ages. The character dynamics? 𝗣𝗘𝗥-𝗙𝗘𝗖𝗧-𝗜𝗢𝗡. My expectations for A. M. McCoy are always sky-high—because she’s fabulous every damn time—but this one? This one blew them into orbit. I devoured my beta read in under 48 hours, then reread the ARC because I genuinely could not put it down. Easily one of my Top Reads of the Year, no question. Ms. McCoy has absolutely outdone herself…yet again. Whew. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲, 𝗘𝗹𝗶, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗶𝘀 – 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 – 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱. 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗲 turned out to be one of my absolute favorite heroines ever. She’s that rare mix of feral black cat energy with full MAMA BEAR fierceness. A single mom busting her rear to build a better life for her babies, wrapped in walls of sass and survival. From the moment she muttered that she had no business eyeing “the big, surly attack dog, or his golden retriever…

Lots of spice

while I didn't love this book, I also didn't hate. the spice in this book is off the charts and it could've been really good if the spicy scenes hadn't overtaken the whole story
