4.5 stars, perfect series ending!
Be still my beating heart! Tucker and Whitt are perfection. Whitt, my precious man, I just wanted to hug him! Whitt truly does have a sweet soul underneath all the loneliness and hurt from his lacking family. Once Tucker recognized that, he didn’t step off the gas and pummeled his way to loving Whitt the way he deserved. The Christmas decorations gift?! SWOON!! 😍 Tucker, my absolute sweetest man, is such a caring soul. Everyone deserves a Tucker in their corner, fiercely loyal and dependable and loving. As the relationship progresses, you witness Whitt become softer and more comfortable being himself. And Tucker was there to support and encourage him every step of the way.
Once again, the banter and snark just make the couple that much more enjoyable. Their “hatred” and competitiveness being the reason they first ended up together was the perfect setup. And they’re totally hot together! I like that it didn’t take a whole bunch of push and pull, and they acknowledged fairly quickly how much they wanted each other. I also loved that they had no qualms admitting their love to each other. And they never wavered, even when it got tough with the long distance or exposure to their relationship. They never once questioned their love for each other.
The side characters were fantastic! I enjoyed Cullen in his book, but I’ve gained even more love for him as a side character in this book. I just love Cullen’s antics, especially the way he shows support for Tucker and Whitt. Tucker’s…

This was a sweet end to the series. I really was not sure how these two were going to work, and man was it a hot ride! And terribly sweet.

I'm crying! I didn't want it to end
Well, here we are. Last book in the Playing for Keeps series. What a bittersweet, fun, sexy and swoonworthy ride it was. This one was Whitt and Tucker's book. Whitt and Tucker have gone to the same football camp since they were kids, and both develop a hatred for each other. Whitt is rich, closed off, and seemingly had it all. Tucker wasn't well off, and his mom struggled during his childhood to take care of him and his sisters. Tucker was also outgoing and charming. They both couldn't be more opposite except for the way they liked to get under each other's skin and the fact that they were both cocky as heck and loved football. Years later, they both find themselves drafted but on rival teams. Their dislike of each other burned strong throughout the years, especially being on opposing teams and both wanting that Super Bowl ring. But what they hid from everyone as well as themselves is the attraction they've pushed aside and denied but has always been there. One night, they find themselves in a compromising situation with another woman, and a spark is lit even as they both go their separate ways and don't talk about what happened after. Yet it seems fate has others' plans because they keep finding themselves in hot situations that they can't walk away from. The more they get to know each other, the deeper they see into who the other really is and things shift because it doesn't feel like just hooking up. It feels like so much more. I really liked how though there was some…

I don’t want it to be over!
I knew it! I knew the story was going to be about Tucker and Whitt and I loved every minute of it the story, their backgrounds, how they got together. Everything was just perfection. The rivalry between the teams and players. Garrett is hilarious. I love that past characters were here. Garrett to me, is the funniest, well him and Atwood are the jokesters.
Whitt’s family is a disconnected family with money. While Tucker‘s family worked hard. They are a very close knit family. Also, both families are culturally different. I listened to this on audiobook as well, and although I love Nick Russo, 100% he can always do different characters and I love his audio narrations but I did enjoy this narrator that came in because his dialect was slightly different and you can tell that they were from different cultures so it was beautifully done and I enjoyed it tremendously.

My freaking heart!!! Tucker gets his happily ever after in the form of his rival, Patrick. They were spicy, explosive, hot, sweet, caring and OMG just adorable.
I absolutely adored the rivalry. Loved to see our guys being crazy and supportive all at the same time. It was a fun, easy-going read. Loved it.
