Description

Safilix carries the weight of a crown he never asked for and a mandate that threatens to shatter his future. As a newly recognized fae prince, he is under immense pressure from his brother to secure an alliance through marriage, commanded to choose a partner of royal standing. But politics cannot dictate the rhythm of his soul, which beats only for Ingal. To everyone else, Ingal is a humble elf, unsuitable for a prince’s side; to Safi, he is the only one who truly sees him. Ingal has built a life in the Sweetwater Pack, finding security and community among his friends. Yet, despite his best efforts to suppress his feelings, his heart remains anchored to the unreachable prince. Having learned the hard way that reaching above one’s station leads only to heartbreak, Ingal keeps his distance. He knows the risks of falling for a man whose path is paved with duty, and he fears the sting of rejection that could dismantle his fragile, hard-won peace. Caught between the rigid expectations of his heritage and the magnetic pull of true love, Safi must decide what it truly means to rule. Will he sacrifice his happiness for a throne, or will he fight for the bond that defies all royal conventions?

His Royal Fae Mate

His Royal Fae Mate A Sweetwater Pack Story By Jax Stuart I am so in love with the Sweetwater Pack! When we met Safi in Ozyn’s story, I so wanted something good for him. Safi is the youngest brother of Glorin, the former King of the Fae and the horrible person that hurt Ozyn. To find out that Glorin also abused Safi made the bond he had with Ozyn make so much sense. His journey in Sweetwater wasn’t smooth sailing. Luckily for Safi, he made a brother bond with Chase and soon had a healthier relationship with Ozyn. Ingal has found a family with Dalton, Larken, and the kids. He has a love for them so pure it was never a case of if he received his owl only when. His crush on Safi is an open secret. The Luna works in mysterious ways though and everything is on her timeline. This book broke my heart in some ways and at the same time made me so happy. It is written on the same timeline as Ozyn’s story, so there is enough history that a newcomer could read it easily without having read the other books. To me this book is a continuation of one of my favorite series. Reading it is like coming home and seeing friends again. Safi and Ingal both are hard on themselves, they both have difficult if different pasts. To see their characters heal and feel worthy of love is beautiful. To know there is more to come with Nhil and a new brother for Kade makes me super happy. Also, how many siblings will Kade end up with? I love that Sweetwater will continue to grow. I’m even more pumped that…

So so good

His Royal Fae Mate is A Sweetwater Pack Story. As stated by the author " His Royal Fae Mate is an omegaverse and mpreg story which is connected to the Sweetwater Pack series. Although reading His Feral Omega Mate first is preferable, readers can still enjoy this book as a standalone. There will be brief mentions of past abuse." This is the story of Safilix (Safi) a fae prince and Ingal an elf. I loved these two because they are just so sweet. I love the characters and world building that has gone into the Sweetwater universe and this book fit in so well. In my opinion these two are perfect for each other and it was wonderful watching them work for a relationship. I loved how their friends were helping in anyway they could. We also get more sweet babies. I really enjoyed this book. I can't wait to see what happens next in the Sweetwater universe. I would definitely recommend this book and everything Sweetwater.

Safilix gets his HEA!

Safilix gets his HEA! After reading all of the Sweetwater Pack stories, the tragic figure of Safilix left me wanting him to have his own story. Illegitimate scion of the fae royal family, he's been abused and abandoned by his terrible older brother the king. Befriending the king's imprisoned consort effectively caused his only local family to ostracize him. It does save his life when he follows the escaped dragon to the human realm. Never really fitting in anywhere and a constant reminder of the dragon's abuse at the hands of his husband, Safi is passed around the pack, looking for his home. Lonely and anxious, he begins to find his way in the pack. A sweet and caring man, he wants nothing more than to be someone's partner and find a place and person to call home. Recognized as a fae prince after the death of his abusive older brother, Safi now must find a noble elf to marry to cement bonds between their peoples. The only elf he sees, though, is considered a commoner without land or title, even though he is creative, loving and talented. Ingal was sent to the human realm at the request of the elven queen. She has foreseen that he will be important and that his destiny lies there. Just as Safi sees only him, Ingal has an immediate and lasting attraction to Safi. The obstacles they will have to overcome are great. To gain their HEA, each will have to put aside preconceived notions and work for solutions to their trials. This story is about finding home and that one person…

Loved Safi and Ingal!

I was so sad when the main Sweetwater Pack series ended but was so happy to hear about spin-off stories! Safi and Ingal’s story was amazing! I truly felt their pain and their joy throughout their journey. Jax is an amazing author that definitely knows how to pull at your heart strings. I highly recommend reading the Sweetwater Pack series before reading this book, just so you’re aware of the characters popping up throughout. Jax did a great job with a character list at the beginning but I really enjoyed the series before reading this book. 10/10 recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
