Description

Kilian Carson is a man defined by his icy exterior and a ruthless ambition that leaves no room for sentiment. As a predator in the world of high-stakes power, he lives by his own cold code, keeping everyone at a distance. That is until he crosses paths with Glyndon King, a woman whose mere presence challenges the impenetrable walls he has built around his soul. What begins as an explosive collision of wills soon spirals into an intense, dark romance that defies societal expectations. As they navigate a world rife with obsession, secrets, and dangerous stakes, the tension between them becomes an intoxicating battle of wits. Their connection is as lethal as it is magnetic, forcing both to confront the ghosts of their pasts and the volatile desires they previously refused to acknowledge. In this gripping installment of the Legacy of Gods series, Rina Kent weaves a masterful tale of complexity and longing. Through the shifting perspectives of its protagonists, the story explores the thin, jagged line between hate and devotion. Packed with sharp-tongued banter, gut-wrenching emotional shifts, and sizzling chemistry, God of Fury is a haunting, unputdownable journey that proves some hearts are not meant to remain untamed.

God of Fury is a story that I think may push some readers and may not exactly work for everyone but I was so fascinated in the growth that we see our couple go through within this story. I had such a fun time with this match up because on the surface you wouldn't think that these two would have anything in common, but when it comes to the heart and mind....they truly find what they need in each other but their journey is a battle. First Line What am I doing here? Summary So the setup of the story is that we have our two male protoganists: Bran and Niko. Niko is the psychopath of the two. He is such an alpha male, and he has his eye on Bran and wants him more than anything. So much so that he is losing interest in what he normally has interest in. Then we have Bran, who has his own mental struggles he has been…

6 Stars, MM Romance. Best of the series!

This book was so fun to read!! It runs in a concurrent timeline of books 1-4, so if you have read them before, you get to re-live some key moments throughout the series and hear Brandon and Nikolai’s POVs. Although they are interconnected standalones, I did find it more enjoyable having read the previous books. This book was SO emotional, as well… I was not expecting that and was highly invested throughout the story. Also, I was not expecting to be giggling and kicking my feet the whole way through, cheering on their love story and wanting happiness for them. I found this book to be SO unique, in the best way! During the rest of the series, you think that Nikolai will be the grumpy and Brandon will be the sunshine, but when it comes to their book, it’s quite opposite and the author completely flipped the script on them! These characters were complex, intelligent, scarred and flawed in the most beautiful way. Nikolai: He’s funny, brash, emotional, charismatic, fierce, obsessive, protective. I love how he talks to himself and his d!ck. His inner monologue was hilarious. Brandon: He’s sweet, caring, friendly, charming, possessive, but underneath it all he’s hiding painful secrets. His need for control and perfection was very relatable. I was very invested in his personal demons and battles. In true Rina Kent fashion, this book was loaded with so much spice! It was beautiful and hot, and I can’t believe this was her first MM romance. So many high points… no notes!…

Loved it

This was epically cute and funny and sad. There were a lot of tough themes and character development here and the writer did a great job addressing both. It got a little murky at parts between the action but I didn't mind. The author took their time letting the reader into the inner chaos of the characters and I appreciated that. The ending was more than satisfying and I just wanted more of Bran and Niko. Speaking of Niko, great job there. He was a fun and unique character, with simple desires and a huge heart. For a psycho. Loved him.

Best book ever!!!

Wow! Fabulous book. Loved it!!! Wish I could give it ten stars instead of just five! It was heartbreaking, emotional, intense, funny, sad and beautiful. This was by far the best book in the God Of series. By far!! Bran and Nico were outstanding together. They were the best characters in this series. They had fantastic chemistry. Nico made me laugh out loud so many times. He was unhinged but also fiercely loyal and protective. His story with Bran was beautiful. And the sex was hot, hot, hot. ❀️❀️❀️❀️❀️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️🌢️. Dark, possessive, beautiful love story

πŸ“– God of Fury by Rina Kent Rating: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… Originally reviewed 11/25, updated review based on 2/26 re-read. This isn't just a dark romance, it's a profound story of how the most unconditional love can bloom in the deepest shadows. On my second read, I was reminded that while Rina Kent is the queen of darkness, she is also the master of crafting stories of redemption and unconditional love that leave a permanent mark on your soul. This book is a beautiful, brutal, and unforgettable roller coaster, and it was worth every single moment. At the center of the storm are two young men who couldn't be more different. There's Brandon King, the seemingly perfect British golden boy, a talented artist who hides his immense pain behind a wall of rigid control and suffocating perfectionism. He is fighting a silent, desperate war against himself. Then Nikolai Sokolov, a 19 year old mafia prince, crashes into his life. Niko is chaos incarnate, violent and unhinged, but he is also startlingly self aware, emotionally intelligent, and completely open about who he is. He is the "scary sunshine" to Brandon's grumpy, guarded exterior, and from their first meeting, he decides Brandon must be his. What follows is an intense push and pull, a relentless pursuit where one man runs from his own identity while the other refuses to let him disappear into the darkness. But this is so much more than a chase. It’s a story about healing. Nikolai sees past Brandon’s carefully constructed facade to the…
