Frat Around and Find Out: Peach State Fratbros, Book 1

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this story, but frat shenanigans, heartfelt moments, crazy banter between main and side characters, and the best kind of love story, made for a wonderful read and an epic listen. Lance and Tyler are rival frat presidents and while you wouldn’t think they would be perfect for one another, they truly are. I absolutely adored the serious conversations where they were vulnerable with each other. Having someone who understands you is invaluable and if you have dynamite chemistry? Even better. The shenanigans brought the fun to their story and the rivalry added just a touch of… well, read the book and find out. The spice was on point and I loved that these two were not afraid to burn up the sheets like good college frat bros should. 😉 If you have read the Peach State Stepbros series, some of your favorite characters make cameos in this series as well. If you haven’t, you should. They’re all frat-tastic stories, if you like that kind of thing. The ending was perfect and I can’t wait to see how this setup plays out in the next book. If you haven’t taken advantage of the read and listen feature of kindle books, I would highly recommend it for this story. Tim Paige is a fantastic narrator and he does a spectacular job bringing these characters and this world to life.

I loved Lance and Ty. While this was fun and filled with hilarious shenanigans, there's also a serious undercurrent for them both. The fact that they've both suffered personal loss was a bridge that helped bring them together. The chemistry between them was scorching hot.

This could be a subjective review as I’ve been in a book slump, but have to give this 3.5 stars. Loved the banter and tension building between the MCs, the pranks, and Ty’s possessiveness towards Lance. The frat boys pranking each other so much they fall in love is not new but the pranks that get them there are pretty hilarious. Have to say though that about 60% through I found it hard to stay invested. The climax was also a bit random and frankly felt lazy to the point where I was ready to skim and call it done. Actually found myself looking for the breadcrumbs of Marty and Ryan’s story but am suspicious from the blurb that it’s going to follow this story’s formula. Still, going to recommend for anyone who loves competitive, rivals to lovers MCs with a possessive streak.

What more can you want? Frat wars, flirting, humor, frat familys, spice and love. Ty & Lance were going to be power couple from the start and when you find your person you will want to be exclusive and going on the dates for the first time. I loved how they supported each other through their loss and the guilt about moving on. The way they talked to each other about those feelings and found a way to cope with the feelings was everything And of course the spice was on point 🔥

Lance and Ty are presidents of rival fraternities. Every year they go against each other trying to one up each other. However, when one of the challenges has them in a compromising position it makes them question their reactions to each other. This book continues to be filled with rivalry but it also becomes two men attempting to figure out what is going on with them. Neither man has ever been drawn to a man before but they are willing to see where it goes. Watching these two as they discover their new likes and wants is fantastic. We see moments of spontaneous jealousy that even confuses the one who is jealous. As they experiment ent they realize they are okay with this new relationship and even bring it out into the open. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to see what's next in the series.
