I’m absolutely FERAL for that. - I have a million and one highlights because there were just so many cute quotes or things that stuck out to me. You did an amazing job, Celeste!🖤 - I also really appreciate the length of the chapters. They’re fast paced but you get everything you need within each chapter. - How Scotty fought the pull is a feat in itself, I would’ve given in on the first crooked grin. The book is on the shorter side with some fun moments, two possessive and swoon worthy Alphas (⚔️), and some family issues to resolve plus one awesome stepmother holding her guy accountable! The spice starts very quickly, no waiting or slow burn for our throuple. However, there is definitely more plot than spice, but the spice it is well written and hot! 🥵 Both MMCs, Ryder and Hunter, are great, Ryder being the more grumpy and dominant type, who is soft for his mates, and Hunter is all golden retriever and sunshine, unless you hurt his loved ones, then his feral side comes out to play! 🔥

The universe did not just open the door to chaos here—it kicked it off the hinges. Hunter is your charming, big-hearted menace with zero chill, while Ryder is intense, focused, and already mentally planning their future after five minutes. How can you not love boyfriends who are also boyfriends? That dynamic alone made this a fun pick-up. It's an easy, comfy read with plenty of extra spice and the steamy scenes really delivered and were genuinely hot. That said, it leans hard into insta-love and insta-lust, so don't expect a slow burn or much character development. The omegaverse trope felt either unnecessary or underdeveloped, like the author couldn't fully commit between leaning into omegaverse mechanics or just exploring a power-dynamic balance, and the story ended up suspended between the two. My biggest gripe: I can't stand watching a grown woman tank her own life while whining about what her daddy would think. It pulled me out of the story every time. Overall, a hot, low-stakes hockey romance if you're here for the spice and the boyfriends-loving-boyfriends energy.

This was a really sweet Omegaverse and the alphas were in it from the very beginning. Loved the writing style and can’t wait to read more from this author
