This book is like a sweet, sexy, snarky hug. I could feel my face smiling as I read it. I love Dianna’s writing so much. Highly recommend.
A Rom-Com esque story with enemies to lovers and lots of spice!
Enemies to lovers •• forced proximity •• workplace romance •• Steamy first times with a man •• Fake relationship ••
Andrew and Lucas's story is quite explosive, these two have been enemies practically since they met. They've never gotten along, mainly due to misunderstanding or in some cases just simply not trying to get to know one another.
Once they both get assigned to show locations to their biggest clients yet, they're forced to spend time together in a forced proximity environment. And thanks to Andrew's lie they have to pretend to be boyfriends... What could go wrong?
I was expecting this to be more of an angst driven plot but wow, this was so much more than what I was expecting. You could really feel how much these two men truly loathed each other in the beginning. They couldn't stand to be in the same room together let alone talk to each other and pretend to be a couple.
I liked how gradually overtime they got to know one another better, even when it was through snarky remarks or pointed jabs, they each slowly revealed a new layer to each other they hadn't seen or known about prior. The banter these two have is interesting for sure, they have their own type of love language. Like how Andrew's insult towards Lucas got turned into Lucas's bizarre pet-name, it was quirky and the dialogue was funny to read.
I LOVE the role Andrew's cousin and cousin in law played, that are absolutely hilarious and are really supportive side characters. I adored them! Something else…

This was a really enjoyable book. It was funny. It had good characters with some depth in personality. I look forward to other books from this author.
Enemies to lovers rom-com
***This is my honest and voluntary review.***
Lucas and Andrew are island real estate agents at odds with one another, until they have to do a job together. Both men want to earn the commission and need to learn how to work together in a civil manner. One things leads to another, and the pair suddenly become fake boyfriends. These two really get under one another’s skin, so it’s absolutely thrilling watching them come to terms with their newfound attraction and admiration of one another.
There’s a lot of sass and snark in this book, but there’s also a lot of heart too. I laughed out loud a few times and definitely felt the swoon as Lucas and Andrew opened up to one another. Their vulnerability is just as appealing as their chemistry. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the enemies-to-lovers aspect is *chef’s kiss.* Lucas is an absolute doll and Andrew is an acquired taste, but I really enjoy the bond they form once Andrew lets his realness show. It’s really heartwarming how Lucas sees his layers.
Terry and Shaw are great side characters. There are some revelations about other characters that are jaw dropping in this story. This book is a fun read that will engross you from the beginning to the end. You should definitely check it out. Roman will have you rooting for Lucas and Andrew’s HEA in no time!

I was certain that Andrew was the worst and I'd never be fond of him. It turns out, he IS the worst, but I'm fond of him. A sweet read with earned character growth and some GREAT revenge.
