Description

Five years ago, fleeing North Carolina was the only way to survive. The life I left behind was a fractured mosaic of shattered dreams and unspoken secrets, and I swore I would never return to the place where I lost myself. But life has a cruel way of forcing us to confront our ghosts, and now I am back—standing on the very ground where I ruined everything. Cole Whitaker was always the golden boy, a hockey prodigy skating toward a future as bright as mine was dim. I was just the mediocre ballet dancer, performing a role of perfection while drowning beneath the surface of my own deceit. Now, those five years of distance have evaporated, and Cole is standing in front of me, demanding the truth I’ve spent half a decade hiding. I’m exhausted by the armor I’ve built, yet terrified of what happens when it finally falls. Facing Cole means confronting the part of my identity I suppressed and the wreckage I left in my wake. Can I finally be the person I was too afraid to acknowledge, or will the truth about my past destroy the only person who truly sees me? (Note: This story explores heavy themes, including eating disorders and mental health struggles. Please prioritize your well-being.)

Second chances

Eeek! I can't believe it's finally here, I've been dying for Cole and reeds book since dean and beau's story. These two are the sweetest couple and their love story is as incredible as they are. From pen pals to strangers, from strangers to lovers and back again, these two had their fair share of heartache and romance. Like in all of sundaes books they really had to work for it, but it was worth it in the end. The spice was hot as heck and I loved getting to see my favorite characters throughout the book. Excited for all the others to come and hoping for more wags Chat!

Such a good book

Coming Home - Sundae Leighton 4.25/5✨🌟 * SPOILERS * This is the first book by Sundae that I’ve ever read as she’s been on my list for quite some time. I was certainly not disappointed by the outcome of this book. I love a meet cute book and this hit all the spots. Sure, it has its cute moments but this book has some other aspects like hurt/comfort and mental health stuff going on. I love how they both started as pen pals when they were in high school and then discovered themselves years later. The way they got together was so cute because when Cole got jealous of Reed dancing. That was the breaking point where they had me hooked in this story. There is so much character and relationship building. Usually, sometimes I get bored with side characters but they were all connected in the best way possible. I love found family and this one had me sucked in. Even the parents had me intrigued by their own relationships as well. Also, I need Zach’s story as soon as possible because that’s going to be a whirlwind for sure. I definitely went through so many emotions for this book and I was here for every moment even when these two got so stubborn. It all turned out pretty well. I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

At Last

Dee’s Grade: A As someone who’ve read pretty much all the books in all the series. These second generation books just make my heart swell. I’m happy these two kids finally worked their issues and are being what the other needs while taking care of themselves.

Fight for love💕

This narrative is truly captivating—deeply emotional and centered around mental health. Be sure to review the trigger warnings before diving in. Reed and Cole began their correspondence as pen pals at the age of 16. As they grew older, their communication transitioned to social media. One evening, during Cole's father's wedding, he stepped outside for some fresh air and unexpectedly encountered someone special. Their connection was destined, but being young, they struggled with communication. Ultimately, they fight for each other in the end.
