Swoon and more swooning!!!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5 stars)
Collided by Riley Harper was such an easy 5-star read for me. I completely fell in love with Francis and Jack and the journey they go on together.
Jack is a dance student at a prestigious academy in London, and when he first meets the Blackbird Boys family, he immediately clashes with Francis. Francis is a pediatrician with the biggest heart, still carrying the weight of a difficult breakup with his longtime girlfriend. What really pulled me in was watching these two slowly move past their initial friction and begin to understand each other on a deeper level.
The banter between them was genuinely one of my favorite parts. it felt natural, sharp, and full of chemistry. But beyond that, the emotional core of the story really stood out. Francis is faced with a life-changing situation, and seeing the way the Blackbird family shows up for him added so much depth and warmth to the story.
This book balances softness and emotion so well. It has hurt/comfort, demi and bi representation, a small age gap, brother’s best friend vibes, and such a strong found family element. And yes… the leggings made their own kind of impact 😌
Overall, this was such a comforting, heartwarming read. The characters felt genuine, the relationships felt earned, and I couldn’t stop smiling by the end.
