These Pride Summer Camp 2025 books have been delightful, each one unique and a fun read. This offering by D. K. Sutton takes place at a summer camp for a work team building retreat to celebrate diversity in the company that River, Canyon’s brother, works for. River had organized everything and has now disappeared, leaving Wade, his “boss hole”, in the lurch. Wade recruits Canyon to help in his brother’s place. Canyon’s brattiness and Wade’s take charge attitude bring the two together as they flirt with the attraction between them, Wade’s Daddy vibe strongly appealing to Canyon’s desire for someone to take care of him for a change, to praise him as a good boy. As the activities unfold, tensions as well as fun times move the retreat along, until the last day when trouble arrives to stir everything up and bring company division at the top into play, and to solve the secrets that have been hidden for awhile.
There is an interesting cast of side characters that could make good main characters for further books if the author wanted to go that route, but there is no hint of further books. I would like a book with River, or maybe Ander, too.
The world building of the camp itself and the activities reminded me of summer camps I attended in my younger years, just the activities were aimed more for adults, but some, like trust falls, would be usual ones. I enjoyed the interactions between Ward and Canyon as they got closer together, and smiled at some of the petty squabbles, the…

Wade and Canyon have instant chemistry.
There's lots of humorous situations and an intriguing mystery to find who's spilling company secrets.
If you're paying attention it's not hard to figure out.
It was nice to see Wade be vulnerable and let Canyon in and it was great to see Canyon discover something new about himself.
Humor, fun times and a bit of a mystery!
Funny, hilarious, great characters and a swoon worthy romance.
Wade goes from being a boss bosshole to be a protective, caring lover. Canyon is drawn out of his comfort zone when he takes his brother's place at Wade's office camping retreat. Wade and Canyon are perfect for each other. I loved their attraction for each other and how quickly their love developed. There are plenty of antics and a corporate conspiracy mystery happening at the retreat. This was an excellent read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I absolutely loved this story. This was a fantastic story. It was fast paced but not rushed. There was lots of emotion and even a bit of mystery and intrigue. These two were so good together and I really enjoyed their story.

Going into Camping with the Boss, I expected a light Daddy/boy kink-fueled rom-com, and while that dynamic is part of the story, it’s surprisingly understated. In fact, by the time those elements came up, I had honestly forgotten this was part of a series that includes that particular kink. Instead, what I got was a funny, heartfelt, and sometimes emotionally sharp opposites-attract romance set at a corporate retreat in the middle of the woods, meant to demonstrate the company's diversity.
Wade - the 'bosshole' - is the kind of gruff, guarded love interest who seems designed to make you hate him, only to turn out to be the character you like the most. He's all growls and sharpness, but there's a genuine depth and care behind the armor. Canyon, it turns out, is Wade's kryptonite. He's absolutely charming while not allowing anyone to take advantage of his kindness. He's deceptively devious, disarmingly observant, and completely in need of someone to take care of him - whether he'll admit it or not. Both men have suffered similar traumas, but it is the aftermath of those events that shaped who they are now. And while their chemistry is almost instantaneous, what stands out is how the relationshiop grows. There's banter, vulnerability and some truly sweet moments as they reveal their hurts to each other.
The book does have a few predictable beats - the third-act conflict was pretty expected - but I didn't feel like they were cleared up easily. Rather, it felt like both Wade…
