I was blessed to read an Advanced Reader Copy of Bittersweet Revenge. Oh, boy, this book was everything! Dean hasn't always been known by that name, but it's one he wears comfortably now out of necessity. A freshman at Ashford University, he's finally taking the steps to do what he knows he must: get revenge by killing Sloan O'Shea, the man that took his father's life and forced Dean and his mother into hiding. Everything has been leading up to this moment, and the last step is to befriend Sloan's own son, Tiernan. But Tiernan surprises him. Beneath the ruthless exterior, Tiernan is just a normal man born into the life, desperate to prove himself to his father and to protect the ones he loves. Dean is surprised by Tiernan's soft side, and the longer he is in Tiernan's orbit, the more he is charmed by his secretly loving nature. But the secrets Dean is keeping are killing him slowly, because all the lies are adding up, and Dean knows he doesn't deserve Tiernan's trust. Emotional! Well written! No mistakes to stop my flow of reading. I loved this story! Yes, the characters were not morally good. I rooted for them. Their love of each other was consuming. Their love of their small family circle, no mater their moral compass or lack thereof, deep. I am delaying reading the third book in the Heated Rivalry series to read the next book in this series.

I am utterly obsessed with every single thing that Riley Hart does, but Bittersweet Revenge absolutely takes the cake for my new favorite enemies to lovers read!!! This was the PERFECT enemies to lovers, revenge filled, hate lust read and I'm not sure it can be beat!!! Tiernan and Dean were the most PERFECT story. This was dark, this was full of hate, this was OH MY spice and it was freaking delicious! Story line was full of suspense, heat, hate, drama and that tasty mob bad boy vibe!!! I am thrilled to read the next in the series! Do yourself a favor and read ASAP, and don't miss out on the audio! Alex Kyddwas incredible!!!!!!

My heart HURT for both these guys honestly. They both had their own issues. I loved that Dean did not take anything from anyone and held his own. I was really worried about how things would be handled between the two of them but loved the way this was done!
