Description

When a sudden, relentless snowstorm traps two best friends and a brooding mountain man in a secluded cabin, the temperature inside begins to rise in ways none of them expected. In this spicy MMF romance, what starts as a simple retreat from the world quickly shifts into a deep exploration of desire, vulnerability, and the uncharted territory of a polyamorous connection. At the heart of the story is an irresistible chemistry that forces the trio to strip away their reservations. As the storm rages outside, the characters must navigate not just the physical spark between them, but the messy, beautiful work of building trust. Unlike many romances that thrive on miscommunication, this novel shines by prioritizing radical honesty and genuine empathy. Through heartfelt dialogue and shared moments of discovery, the protagonists learn that love isn’t about choosing one path, but finding the courage to embrace the people who make them feel whole. Perfect for readers seeking a quick, steamy, and emotionally resonant escape, Axes and O's is a heartwarming celebration of identity and unconventional love. It proves that sometimes getting snowed in is the best way to open yourself up to a future you never imagined possible.

ALL OF THE CHILI PEPPERS!

Wow! What a book! It's the quintessential fantasy of getting snowed in a log cabin in the mountains and stuck with the sexiest people possible with nothing else to do but play. 😏 But the substance of the story lies in understanding the journey of smexual exploration and how all of that plays into their relationship dynamic. Nathan is such a straight-laced guy he never imagined himself partaking in any of the things he does, but instead of shutting down he embraces this as a journey of self-exploration to better understand what he truly wants in life. Fox and Morgan have been together forever and are apprehensive about attempting to bring a 3rd into their relationship again, but they both feel something special with Nathan and allow themselves to be just as vulnerable to see if they can validate their intuition. There is a lot of doubt, fear, and trepidation that make the story feel relatable. That finding solace and peace in who you are outside of society's expectations can be jarring, but taking the time to accept your truth and finding support in those that accept all facets of who you are is essential to finding your happy ending. I think it's not just Nathan that goes through this journey but all 3 of them. They might be having a lot of klinky shmex, but their soul deep connections to one another are what makes it all so special. This is by far the spiciest book I think I've ever read. 🥵🥵 but the spice is only the surface. Take the journey and maybe you'll learn a…

axes and o’s

I put thIs on audio to cheer me up while I was taking down my Christmas decorations. I was expecting a fun, spicy story to keep my spirits up. But damn. I fell in love with these three people. It was like a voyer window into their life and I wanted more! The vulnerability and realness from these characters surprised me. Yes there were hot spicy times (check the cw), but the character interaction was the best part! I couldn’t get enough. I wanted to know all about their back stories and a longer epilogue. Luckily there’s a second book to the series and I’m hoping we will see these three again! Plus the narration was top tier. 4.25 stars. 4 spice. 4.5 narration.

lumbersnacks? Say Less

🪓Lumbersnacks…(I mean, loggers) 🪓Snowed in 🪓Married Couple + 1 🪓Adventurous Spice 🪓Plus Size Rep BRILLIANT. Just Brilliant. Kayla Grosse does it again with another spicy novella. Such a short book packed with so much delicious tension, emotion and laughs. The way she can have her stories flow from top tier spice to intense/heartfelt emotion to comedic relief is just insane. I really loved how she wrote Fox, Nathan and Morgan. Their chemistry, their personalities and each other background, it all was written so well. The narrators for this book also added so much goodness to this story. Their chemistry helped intensify the characters chemistry. I honestly started feeling like I was a part of this relationship. From the words to the performance to the details, Grayson Owens, Stella Hunter, Stephen Dexter and Kayla Grosse created a reading/audio experience that makes this a must read, must listen. If you’re feeling the need for some adventure…this is the book for you.

Throuple Snowed In the Woods

⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) Nathan crashes his car and ends up snowed in with Fox and Morgan just before Christmas. The setup promises, and fullfills a steamy MMF throuple romance, but the character depth fell flat for me. I wanted to connect more with the trio, but we barely scratch the surface of their personalities. We learn a bit about Nathan, Fox, and Morgan, but it wasn’t enough to fully immerse me in their story. Plus, a big plot point—why their former partner left—is left totally unexplained! What I did love was the constant communication. No games, no secrets—just open, honest talk, especially from Fox, the tough ex-military guy who rarely shows emotions. Tropes: • BDSM & Primal Play • MMF • Vulnerable MMCs • Insta-Lust/Love Despite its flaws, it's still a fun, spicy read that I’d recommend for anyone who enjoys a steamy throuple romance! 📖🔥

Happy holidays indeed!

I had some downtime at work and started this book. That was truly the worst decision I could have made for two reasons. One, I got absolutely sucked in to this book immediately. Two, this was so unexpectedly spicy. Like I knew it was going to be spicy, I've read Kayla's books before, but i didn't know that loggers who are poly and need/want a third was going to do it for me. I had to pause, take a break, talk to a coworker, fan myself, come back all to just do it again. Did the book have plot? Yes and it was good but the things they did in like a 3 day span? Wow. Applause and water to all involved. I think for spice, I marked it pretty high cause the array of different scenes and types of spice 🥵 (do you know how awkward it is to talk to someone after a stockade scene? Very awkward) Anywho, I absolutely loved this group of people, the way everyone's feelings were validated but at the same time if a reality check was needed it was given was perfect. The healthy communication was done so well especially with bringing in a new person. I will also say the characters were older, the youngest being 28 and the couple being 35 and I felt like that showed with their maturity and knowing how to communicate that it wasn't a third act breakup so much as a we were snowed in for a few days i can't immediately jump into this which makes sense. If Kayla wanted to show more holidays with them I would not be disappointed because the way they pick a Christmas tree??? I think an Easter egg…
