Description

For one college student, life is a straightforward path toward independence and leaving his suffocating home life behind. That plan unravels during a routine jog when he experiences a mysterious four-hour blackout. He soon awakens to a terrifying new reality: his senses are heightened to a painful degree, his temper is explosive, and he is developing an insatiable, primal hunger for raw meat. He is losing control, and the skin he inhabits no longer feels like his own. Enter Jesse van der Meer, a man who appears at the perfect moment to pull back the veil on a hidden, predatory world. Jesse serves as both mentor and catalyst, guiding him through his visceral transformation and teaching him how to master his newfound predatory instincts. As they navigate this dangerous supernatural landscape together, their professional bond ignites into a fierce, consuming attraction. Yet, as the protagonist begins to embrace his new nature, he realizes that Jesse is keeping secrets of his own—dark omissions that could cost them everything. Caught between an encroaching threat and a man whose motives remain draped in shadows, he must decide if his trust is a fatal error or his only path to survival.

This book had me completely engrossed. The characters are imperfect and learn quite a bit about each other and how to make their relationship work. The spice is top notch! The story itself was engaging and made me want to continue reading. Overall solid book that I would read again and will certainly be continuing the series.

Wolfseeker

Damn, I loved this. This book had everything for me. Scorching hot spice, two incredibly likable main characters, and a plot that was easy to follow but still had enough depth to keep me invested 🖤 Jesse and Caleb had insane chemistry. This book was spicyyyyyy 🔥🔥🔥 and the scenes were so so good. Sometimes in super spicy books I have issues feeling like the scenes get repetitive but that wasn’t the case in this one. Each scene was incredibly detailed and unique from the others. The ending honestly surprised me. It felt a little short to me but with there being two more books coming I don’t doubt I’ll get everything I need 🖤

MM Werewolf Romance with Plenty of Spice, Kink, and Story.

"Wolfseeker" by Amy Pennza is an MM romance featuring werewolf mates, dominance and submission, and a 100+ year age gap (The best kind IMO). In this book, Caleb is dealing with confusing changes to his mind and body that have occurred in the months since he woke up on the ground with hours of his memory missing. But when his violent urges come to a head, he's saved/kidnapped by Jesse. Jesse who looks like a college student, but has the presence of someone much older. Someone that tells Caleb that they're both werewolves, immortal, and mated. Ratings: Overall: 5/5 hearts - Honestly, this book is everything I look for in my romance. It's paranormal, kinky, filthy, and with just enough angst to make my heart ache a little before giving me a happy ending that leads into the rest of the planned series. Peppers: 5/5 - The spice starts early and stays HAWT. Around 50% of this book is spice. Spice: 5/5 - OMG ya'll. The spice is amazing. Dominance and submission is a big theme in the book and that leads to some amazing spice that is more than a little kinky. Plot: 5/5 - - Storyline: I loved the pacing and how the storyline seemed to morph and change as the book went on. Every time a hurdle would be cleared, there was another one lined up and I loved the constant tension that kept me flipping page after page. - Characters: The two main characters are great. Different enough to be a nice contrast, but both with past trauma that helps them bond. Ancillary characters are all…

Really enjoyed - bring on the next book!

I will never complain about too much spice and this book has a perfect amount for me - lots! This book is a fun and wild paranormal ride! I adore fated mates and so what if it's insta-lust? Gimme, gimme, I say. I love the banter - it's almost irreverent in places and I'm so here for that. The MCs are both great characters, though i maybe have a slight preference for Caleb's bratty side. I enjoyed reading about their backgrounds. However, in addition to the very hot spice, we get a pretty interesting, fast-paced plot that takes us easily into the next book and I can't wait!! I felt like I got just enough resolution here to feel satisfied yet I'm also eager to continue this journey. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

spicy with a side of plot

3.75 ⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ If you have read Amy Pennza before this has a lot of her great spicy scenes with a side of kink- although this one is mostly kink talk. I expect we will get more of the actual toys in the next book. The plot is interesting, but it definitely more spice in this first book. I will definitely continue I am sure we will get more involved plot and 🥵 spice in the rest of the trilogy.
