Description

For Jada, life is a carefully choreographed performance, both on and off the stage. As a dedicated theater director, she thrives on control and precision, keeping her personal life tucked neatly behind the velvet curtain. But when a new production throws her into the orbit of a captivating woman who refuses to follow the script, Jada’s meticulously constructed world begins to fray at the edges. This isn’t just a simple workplace romance; it is a collision of two distinct lives, beliefs, and vulnerabilities. As rehearsals progress and the spotlight intensifies, the chemistry between the two becomes impossible to ignore, forcing them to confront the fears that have kept them guarded for so long. Amidst the tension of backstage politics and the electric atmosphere of live theater, they must decide if an off-stage connection is worth the risk of losing their balance. Erin Zak delivers an intimate, heart-wrenching, and deeply satisfying story of growth and attraction. It is a celebration of the messy, raw reality of falling in love when you least expect it. Whether you are a fan of theater or simply a believer in the power of a transformative connection, this romance will leave you breathless and rooting for a love that dares to take center stage.

Grace & Heather ❤️ Beautiful Sapphic Romance

Erin Zak is a sapphic romance genius. This spectacular book make me laugh, swoon, shed a few tears, sob with an abundance of tears, smile, sigh, and then feel like the earth was back rotating on its axis again. I felt every emotion that came from Grace and Heather in this book. It is so well written that they captured my heart in the beginning and never let go. And oh my God their chemistry is undeniable and hot, hot, hot. Grace and Heather's story is just so captivating and beautiful. Erin is a master at creating relatable, loveable, complex, and compassionate female characters. There are a few books that have left indelible marks on my heart and soul. Loved EVERY moment of this sapphic love story!

I devoured this book so FAST and absolutely loved EVERY second. It really takes a special author to pull me in so quickly and keep me captivated throughout the entire book. I wanted to know everything about Heather & Grace and I enjoyed reading their alternating first person POVs. I thought it was done well and felt that the perspectives changed at exactly the right moments. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I unexpectedly fell asleep and woke up in the middle of the night to finish it. I loved the character development, the chemistry, the angst, the spice, and all the feels. I know it's all fiction, but I want these characters to be real and I wish I could read the book and watch the movie of 'The Tide Will Pull You Home' that is featured within these pages. Thank you for this gem, Erin Zak! This book reminded me of my own forbidden love story so it felt even more special. It's my first book that I've read of yours and will become one I return to often. Now, I need to go and read all of your other work!

Heart-aching romance

When Worlds Collide is cleverly built and well written romance between two middle aged women. I enjoyed the split of the story into three act. It was original idea for a book. The overall storyline was also original and refreshingly new. Sort of second chance and forbidden love combined with something extra. I liked that there was no (regular for romance) awkward and mandatory drama. The conflict was built in the synopsis. The forced breakup was already known based on blurb but the reason is not not very believable for me - but I let it slide and take it as it's given in the book because the book was so well written otherwise. I liked both main characters and the side characters supported the story. For once, exes weren’t pure evil although one did stir up some drama. The romance was hot, innocent, full of emotion. I give Heather and Grace’s story 4.5 stars. I would like to hear the story narrated by Angela Dawe. She would be amazing.

A Book That Is Heartbreaking As it Heartwarming!

Erin Zak has done it again. She has created a love story that hits you in the chest, hard. The two main characters Grace and Heather are lovable and hurting but searching and learning to love wholeheartedly. Heather is divorced from Michael who decided he didn’t love her anymore and left her hurting and Grace is in a relationship with Darby who is mean and miserable but they have been together so long that she knows she has to end it but is dragging her feet. Heather is A Broadway actress on the verge of Tony nominations and Grace is a successful sapphic author living in Chicago who doesn’t like to be in the limelight but is now having one of her books brought to the big screen with requirement of her being involved. As these two paths cross, there is a connection and chemistry that has shocked both of them. But just as their attraction is growing, it seems that they are not the only ones to consider. What happens to two people who fall hopelessly but are being kept apart? How does a relationship form when they are in two different states? With hearts hurting but both having to move forward, can there be a future where happiness exists. Excellent read with the right amount of sadness and heartbreak and happiness of an over abundance of love.
