Description

Zephryn and Micah have spent years perfecting the art of being just friends. As teammates on the soccer pitch, their connection is telepathic, defined by shared sweat, locker room banter, and an unwavering loyalty that anchors them both. But beneath the surface of their easy camaraderie, a dormant fire has been smoldering, waiting for the right moment to ignite. When Micah faces the wreckage of a painful divorce, the boundaries of their friendship begin to shift. What started as late-night comfort sessions quickly evolves into a profound sexual awakening that challenges everything they thought they knew about themselves. For Zeph, it is a sudden, breathtaking realization that the person he has always relied on is the one he cannot live without. This prequel novella delivers an intimate, high-stakes exploration of a budding bisexual romance. It captures the raw vulnerability of two best friends daring to cross the line into uncharted territory. With the promise of a larger story waiting to unfold, this emotional prelude sets the stage for a complex journey of love, self-discovery, and the courage to pursue a future that looks very different than what they once imagined. Experience the spark that changes everything.

loved

When We Hid is the prequal for the Choosing Us series by a new to me author. This is a sexual awakening, friends to more read about Zeph and Micah and ends in a cliffhanger. I really enjoyed this book and was so excited to see where it went, until I realized that it's a mmf book so I guess I will just have to stay happy with what I have read so far.

Best Friends, Bi Awakening

Short prelude to a continuing story. Micah and Zephryn are best friends who have secret crushes on each other. Micah is going through a horrible divorce & Zephryn is helping him out any way he can. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was perfect!

I really enjoyed this prequel novella! I am so ready for their book and to see how Hailey fits into the budding relationship between Zeph and Micah. And I need to know where they end up! It was too easy to fall in love with these set of unsure friends to lovers. I just want to hug them both and keep them forever!
