Gentle Samuel and sweet Toby…
Gentle Samuel and sweet Toby are each in need.
Toby, 24, has curly long hair with a man bun, 5’9”, is brown eyed and bubbly. He has a certificate from Culinary School and longs to be a chef. Unfortunately his wealthy parents have always told him what a screw up he was. Melissa is his BFF, plus he has his Tavern friends.
Samuel, 48, 6’3”, a hunky hottie, dart brown hair with near shaved sides, and a full beard, green eyes, plus owns his own construction company. He is muscled, funny and is strong. His daughter is Melissa.
The two men meet when Toby brings food for the guys helping Melissa move out of her Dad’s to live with her boyfriend.
Toby ends up giving Samuel cooking lessons, and as they learn about each other, they are completely smitten.
We get the pasts, deep talks, and fun. The Tavern guys put up a “wanted” ad for Toby to find his gentle Daddy. When Samuel sees it, he applies. They move slowly to get their hot, vers sexy times.
All goes smoothly until Toby’s terrible parents cause trouble, Toby is shaken, and Samuel stays at his side.
I liked these characters and the hopeful story.

4.5 Stars-Really sweet book
I thought that this was a fantastically sweet book. I thought toby was perfect just the way he was he just needed a Daddy to show him that and that is exactly who he hot in Samuel. Samuel is now an empty nester with out a sub to spoil and is feeling restless. Thanks to Toby’s bestie and Samuel’s daughter, these two meet and they can’t help the pull they feel. These to have some things to get through together and apart but they do get through them. I really enjoyed this book and I can’t wait for the rest of the boys to find their Daddies. I would recommend this book and Ms. Sammi as a must read author.

I just loved Toby and his passion for cooking. My heart hurt that his parents could be so cruel. Luckily he had Mr and Mrs Wilcox. Samuel is the perfect patient Daddy. I love that his daughter was so supportive of her dad and bestie getting together. I also loved that Samuel called Toby enchanting. Swoon.

Toby's story breaks your heart and makes you want to hug him and never let go. He's so loveable, sweet, and funny. His parents...ugghh...nasty people. But enter Patient Daddy who provides all the cuddles, unconditional love, and a strong shoulder to lean on that Toby needs. Samuel is so caring and tender with Toby. He gives Toby that little push and nurturing that he needed to blossom and find his inner strength.
This is such a sweet, tender, and funny story. All the boys are so cute and have their own unique personalities. I can't wait for the next book
Toby and Samuel are sweet and the story is low angst with a cohesive plot, but this book needed some more editing. Several places early in the book Toby feeds Samuel <<>>, clearly a placeholder for whatever food was being served; hook, line, and seeker instead of sinker; etc. A fun read and I will continue the series but hopefully editing will be more thorough next time.
