A volcanically hot opposites attract romance
WOW. Just WOW. I picked this up on KU after seeing it on sapphic_book_club's Instagram stories. I was not prepared and was completely knocked off my feet. This is a volcanically hot opposites attract romance. This is the first book from Nicole Pyland that I've read and I'm still sweaty. I'm still kind of reeling from this book and not really sure how to review it other than to say "enjoyed it" is an understatement. This book, for me at least, spoke a lot about breaking the shame around women enjoying and pursuing sex. This is an intensely sexual story with copious amounts of amazing encounters but the plot was actually really, really good. I know a lot of times that isn't really the case but I was really impressed with how Pyland carried this plot between Silver & and Honor and how their relationship evolved. I felt like the pace was steady and the encounters actually assisted with Honors development as well as acceptance of what she desires outside a traditional relationship structure.
This is one I'm going to be getting in print, friends. 100%.
If you're looking for some hellacious steam factor, great characters, and all sorts of sexual sapphic scenarios - you've found it.
What a great ride.
WOW.
