Unknowingly Adopting the alpha by Regitse Liljadorff is the first book in her Groove Vale Pack series. It is the story of an Alpha wolf who stumbles upon his human mate and how he slowly acclimates him to knowing werewolves are real, being his mate, and life in the pack with some twists and turns along the way. Jeremy has just been named the Groove Pack Alpha by his father who wants to retire. He is happy with this and wants to be the best Alpha he can but he also knows his younger brother, Milo, really coveted the job and is sorely disappointed when he doesn’t get it. Jeremy has secretly loved his best friend, Darius, and goes to tell him that he wants him as his mate when he finds him kissing Milo so he runs away in wolf form and then gets hit by a car that is owned by Cassian Balone. Cassian has left the city where his father owns a large company that buys and sells big properties. But his father rejected and dismissed him and expected submission and loyalty that he couldn’t give him so when his grandfather left him his house in Groove Vale he jumped at the chance to leave the city and his job.
