Description

The quiet promise of a fresh start in Willow Creek is shattered when Ayla Carver’s past catches up to her in the deadliest way imaginable. Abducted by the very man who once bartered her away, Ayla is thrust back into the crosshairs of a ruthless criminal underworld. She is trapped, fighting for her life against enemies who view her as nothing more than a pawn, certain that this time, she won't make it out. But her captors made one fatal miscalculation: they underestimated Katherine Shaw. The U.S. Marshal has already been burned once, and she isn’t about to let the woman who conquered her jaded heart slip through her fingers again. As the walls close in and federal powers scramble, Kathy abandons the safety of the protocol to embark on a high-stakes rescue mission that defies the law and risks everything she has built. Unbroken is a white-knuckle journey through the dark corridors of obsession and survival. From the adrenaline-fueled tension of a desperate road trip to the searing chemistry of an unlikely duo, this second installment of the Ayla & Kathy duet proves that even when the world tries to shatter them, their bond remains the only force that can’t be broken.

Couldn't stop reading

The story of intrigue and danger and secret love kept me on the edge of my seat and the love making sizzled. I couldn't stop reading.

this needs to be a film!

Fast-paced, sex, danger, plots, Mafia, drugs, rock and roll. What could be better? A writer with a philosophical viewpoint who knows a thing or two about the value of love. And is talented enough to express it well. Loved the road trip. That'd be a food framework for the film I'm hoping for.

loved

It takes forgiveness and honesty to let someone in. Realizing that all you need is that one person who sees you that leads to a happily ever after.

Well Done!

Read both books in just a few days. Kept me on my toes and then fell in love with both of characters. I love small towns that let you come home!

Throwing Tomatoes

Ayla never takes accountability and was very childish, graphic scenes were corny (was this written by a man?), 2 books of nothing.
