Trouble: Love Is Love, Book 2

So..Nyla went ALL in on this one. I unequivocally loooooove Tate and Lance. The way the come back to each other so organically, the way they fight throughout this book to love each other and just be okay, ugggggh. The twists gripped my throat tightly, the spice ensnared my senses, and the love stole my heart. I could absolutely handle another dose of these two. I decided to read this BEFORE Push (which I'm reading now) and Pull, and I'm glad I did because it lets you look back at Tate before Lance returns to him, but I can't imagine loving this book any more or less than I already do.

I loved this book! These two, their life problems and how they came full circle. The ending was probably my favorite part! I loved seeing the characters from Push as well. Overall I really enjoyed this book, this world and all things Nyla! Definitely recommend reading!

This book had me swooning like crazy and also panting like a dog in heat 🤣 This was a second chance romance done incredibly well. It hit all of the marks! High steam, lots of pining, and romance that will fill you with butterflies! These two characters were developed beautifully. Total opposites, but they fit perfectly together. This book was long (about 620 pages) but I hardly felt it. The pacing was on point. This story grabbed my attention and refused to let me go until I was done. There was so much going on in this story. Things I least expected! I was shook at some of the things that were revealed! I read this book in 2 days and abandoned all responsibilities. This is for sure a top read of 2023 for me. Nyla K is one my fave MM writers! Her writing and storytelling abilities are unmatched. I highly highly recommend you read “Trouble” and the other books in Nyla’s catalog.

Obsessed. I loved Tate in Push and was so excited to read his story. If you read Pull then you got a glimpse of Lance and a sneak peek of their history. We get all the pieces of the puzzle in this one. I loved how Lance owned his wrong doings and immediately addressed it with Tate. Even though it was years later, he gathered to courage to admit how poorly he handled their relationship in the past. Lance's groveling was also EVERYTHING! All of the pet names and sweet nothing's he continuously whispered in Tate's ear, made my heart melt. The banter between these two is also hilarious. Tate is the fun, care free, here for a good time guy while Lance is more serious. They really balance each other out. I did not see the twist coming in this story, but I enjoyed it. Nyla is always going to keep us on our toes. At the end of the day, seeing the love and devotion between these two was so enjoyable to read and will make you swoon. I also loved all of the cameos we got from Ben, Ryan, and Jess. Great read per usual. Nyla does not miss.

I thought this book started out to be really good but it was so overly drawn out I couldn't read it anymore.
