Description

Charlie never wanted to join the ranks of the undead. After a drunken dare gone horribly wrong left him with fangs he didn’t ask for and a diet consisting primarily of beet juice and cherry Kool-Aid, Charlie is officially the worst vampire in history. He’s a sleep-deprived disaster who faints at the sight of actual blood, making him an outcast among the supernatural community and a headache for anyone expecting a terrifying predator. Enter Simon, a legendary, ice-cold hunter whose reputation is built on efficiency and a zero-tolerance policy for darkness. When he finally tracks Charlie down, he expects a ruthless monster deserving of an immediate stake through the heart. Instead, he finds a hoodie-wearing klutz who is more likely to accidentally trip over an altar than terrorize the local citizenry. Faced with an enemy who is more pathetic than perilous, Simon finds his steel resolve beginning to crack. It is hard to be a relentless slayer when your target is weirdly endearing, and even harder to maintain professional distance when your prey keeps bumbling his way into your life. In this hilarious and heartwarming supernatural romance, the line between hunter and hunted blurs, proving that sometimes the biggest threats are the ones you can't help but fall for.

Yes! So worth it. 😁

Audible. A most delightful story. I absolutely loved it and listened to it in one sitting. A lovely mix of humour and drama with some sci-fi thrown in. As always, John Solo nailed these characters perfectly with his performance, giving each character its own voice and nuance. You'll adore our wimpy vamp, Charlie. Well done! I'll definitely follow up with the rest of this series. It's my first experience with Silvana Falcon and I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed this. Each book stands alone. Light spice. Dual pov, 3rd person. Highly recommend.

Bunny Vampire

I loved every bit of this story, it was light, romantic, funny, and had the right dosage of hurt/comfort. I can't believe I devoured this story in two days, but it was so easy to read, and the characters were amazing. I loved the chemistry between Charlie and Simon, even the supporting characters, such as Noah made this book much more memorable.

Another 5 Star Read!

Immediately picked this one up after the first and adored it. These two dummies are so cute, with one chaotic klutz of a vamp and a brooding vamp hunter. Not only did I love the evolution of their relationship but also the plot was also intriguing! It kept me in my toes! Highly recommend!!

Vampire vs hunter

I normally prefer friends to lovers... but since heated rivarly, I need all the enemies to lovers. And this was a vampire and vampire hunter, so naturally no way could that ever work...wrong! Charlie is just so bad at being a vampire, it literally confuses Simon. Simon ends up saving Charlie multiple times, and then really chooses Charlie over everything. Very low spice, two on page sex scenes.
