Description

Jamie Joy is content living in the shadow of her glamorous, high-powered girlfriend, Etta Coleman—until a stray bouquet lands in her lap at the social event of the season, shattering her fragile peace of mind. While Jamie has been busy building a life with the prestigious CEO, the catch of the century, she suddenly finds herself haunted by a nagging, painful question: is she truly Etta’s partner, or merely a temporary fixture in a life that doesn't include marriage? As the whispers of high society grow louder, the assumption spreads that while Jamie is a tolerable girlfriend, she lacks the pedigree to be Etta’s wife. The pressure mounts as an intrusive mutual friend begins meddling in their affairs, a health crisis threatens to disrupt their equilibrium, and a ghost from Etta’s past reemerges with motives as murky as Etta’s own intentions. Packed with tension, newfound vulnerability, and a dash of feline chaos, this sapphic serial dives deep into the high-stakes world of romance, status, and the search for authentic commitment. Can Jamie secure her place in Etta’s future, or will the weight of expectation finally tear them apart? The invitation is extended; join us for a wedding that tests the limits of love.

A great read!

I really enjoyed this book. There a lot of spiciness and relationship dynamics. It was fun to be in the world of the wealthy.

THE Wedding of the year.

This story continues with Jamie and Etta. We see that Jamie is struggling to fit in with all the rich snobs that are always talking behind her back. She has a few friends that help her. This is a wonder story of how Jamie deals with the rich snobs and letting everyone know that is LOVES Etta and is not a good digger. Its also nice to she how we learn of other couples get together and how Jamie is becoming friends with other rich women that don't care what people think of them.

OMG the very icy queen of investing falls for her assistant!

Hildred Billings has brought this delightfully naughty tale of unending love to full bloom for us to indulge our kinky side! This may just be the HEA that we all crave. It is impeccably written, the characters are dynamic and multi layered. The view of “High Society” may be a bit stilted but oh so fun! There is enough erotic content to satisfy the lust in most of us. A great fun read to be sure.

loved this one!

I'm sad that my time with Jamie and Etta is over. Only one real stumbling misuse of a word: "insubordinate" should have been "inordinate". Otherwise, a cracking good story with really distinct characters, many of them! I would love to see even a short story concerning the Dowager Coleman. She was there for a few pages, but there must be a backstory worth a book. Hildred?
