Description

Bridge Flint expected nothing more than a casual hangout with his best friends, but a single misstep through a hidden fairy ring changes his reality forever. Plunged into the vibrant, enchanted Spring Court, Bridge finds himself literally dropping into the private sanctuary of Prince Hydris—who is as startled by the intrusion as he is breathtaking. Trapped in a realm governed by an ancient, suffocating curse, Bridge soon learns that the lush, magical kingdom is not the paradise it seems. The throne has been usurped by a treacherous advisor, leaving Hydris reeling, powerless, and hiding his true spark. But Bridge is far from a damsel; he becomes the catalyst for change, determined to help the gentle prince reclaim both his confidence and his kingdom. As they navigate the dangerous court politics, Bridge finds his resolve tested and his heart captured by a man whose joy literally causes flowers to bloom in his hair. Delaney Rain weaves a tender yet gripping tale of reclaimed power and unexpected connection. With a villain closing in and the fate of the court hanging in the balance, Bridge must decide if his future belongs in the human world or by the side of the prince who needs him most.

The Spring Prince was definitely different from The Winter Prince - which makes complete sense, they're very different seasons. Bridge was a solid practical guy and Hydris was adorable, they balanced each other well. And I really liked that Bridge wanted to help Hydris fully be himself! Overall, this book has Delaney's humor and banter throughout, like all of her books. The fae realm is a new venture for her (as opposed to space or AU present times), but I've enjoyed it so far. I'm so curious to see how Summer and Autumn look. AND to see all the princes/friends reunite (I assume in book 4).

cute, not too serious, love story

A short and sweet love story featuring the second fae prince and lost hiker, this time spring. Very different personalities from the first couple but this pair worked too. While I liked the first book a little better, this one was still a good story and plenty entertaining

Eagerly Awaiting This Series

I caught the first book last week, and was happy to see this one came out so soon after. However, I'll have to wait all summer for the next two. Obviously adorable, I've loved everything I've read from Delaney, they always produce the most lovable characters and humorous dialogue. My one regret is I can't read the whole series in one go.

So sweet

It's a sweet shorter story and I love it. There is only a little tension but a lot of love (including the physical kind ;) Just as good as the winter book, I am very much looking forward to the other two books in this series.
