Description

The thaw of spring brings more than just blooming flowers to the hidden fae realm. For Bridge, a mortal hiker who wandered too far from the safety of the human world, the forest is no longer just a place of wonder, but a dangerous trap. He is rescued by Hydris, the mercurial and charming Spring Prince, whose warmth is as intoxicating as the magic swirling through his court. What begins as an uneasy alliance between a lost traveler and a royal fae quickly blossoms into something far more profound. As they navigate the delicate politics of the seasonal courts and the secret threats lurking in the shadows, their friendship shifts into an undeniable, heart-pounding connection. Their bond is tested by the rigid expectations of royalty and the fragility of a human life caught in the crosshairs of ancient fae intrigue. This second installment in the series offers a fresh, Regency-inspired atmosphere, trading the stark frost of winter for the lush, vibrant intensity of spring. It is a sweet yet suspenseful friends-to-lovers tale that celebrates the courage it takes to trust someone from a different world. If you crave a magical escape filled with tender romance and high-stakes wonder, this enchanting story awaits.

The Spring Prince was definitely different from The Winter Prince - which makes complete sense, they're very different seasons. Bridge was a solid practical guy and Hydris was adorable, they balanced each other well. And I really liked that Bridge wanted to help Hydris fully be himself! Overall, this book has Delaney's humor and banter throughout, like all of her books. The fae realm is a new venture for her (as opposed to space or AU present times), but I've enjoyed it so far. I'm so curious to see how Summer and Autumn look. AND to see all the princes/friends reunite (I assume in book 4).

cute, not too serious, love story

A short and sweet love story featuring the second fae prince and lost hiker, this time spring. Very different personalities from the first couple but this pair worked too. While I liked the first book a little better, this one was still a good story and plenty entertaining

Eagerly Awaiting This Series

I caught the first book last week, and was happy to see this one came out so soon after. However, I'll have to wait all summer for the next two. Obviously adorable, I've loved everything I've read from Delaney, they always produce the most lovable characters and humorous dialogue. My one regret is I can't read the whole series in one go.
