Description

Finding the courage to speak to your crush is hard enough when you are just a regular person, but for a shy snow yeti, it feels downright impossible. Especially when your crush is a towering, perpetually grumpy werewolf who seems to prefer growling at people over engaging in small talk. After leaving a series of tentative gifts, our soft-spoken, yeti protagonist decides it is time to face the music. He is convinced that Dain—the brooding, broad-shouldered werewolf who stalks the aisles of the local bookstore—is his viramore, his destined soulmate. But convincing a rugged skeptic to believe in fated connections is an uphill battle, especially when you are too tongue-tied to voice your feelings clearly. Dain is resistant, dismissive, and entirely unconvinced by the idea of destiny. However, he agrees to one date, opening a door that might lead to something transformative. As they navigate the awkward, sweet tension of their initial meetings, the two must bridge the gap between their very different worlds. Blending cozy found-family dynamics with the sparks of a classic grumpy/sweet romance, this enchanting urban fantasy proves that sometimes the quietest hearts have the loudest destiny.

delightful!

Lanche and Dain are so sweet and caring!Fortunately it doesn’t take Dain and Lanche too long to realize who they are to each other. This story is absolutely delightful!

A cute story.

This is a cute grumpy/sunshine, fated mates romance. Lanche and Dain have some fun dates to learn if they are a good match. The secondary characters are fun helping to keep Lanche and Dain together through the book. I enjoyed the ending showing how much they care for each other. I look forward to seeing what else happens in this series.

A definite miss

I have enjoyed some of this author’s books in the past, but this one … not so much. I swear it was written be a completely different person, as the writing style simply doesn’t match her previous books. The writing was very juvenile and rushed. And the one spicy scene? Yeah, rushed and unfulfilling. And by the way? Scissoring still ain’t a thing gay men do. Just saying.
