Description

The spotlight burns, but the shadows behind the stage are where the real danger lingers. Jax is a rockstar living on the razor edge of fame, her life a chaotic blur of sold-out arenas and restless nights. When a high-stakes threat forces her to hire a bodyguard, she expects a professional shadow, not the infuriatingly composed and lethal fighter who challenges her at every turn. Enter Sloane, a woman with a past as jagged as the scars she carries. Tasked with protecting a woman who refuses to be controlled, Sloane finds her ironclad resolve tested by Jax’s magnetic, reckless energy. As they navigate a world of underground fight clubs and industry conspiracies, the professional boundary between them begins to fray under the weight of undeniable, explosive chemistry. This is a high-octane romance where the tension is as sharp as a blade and the stakes are life-or-death. Readers are falling hard for the electric push-and-pull between these two powerful women, calling it a must-read that keeps you breathless until the final page. If you crave a sapphic story that blends grit, glitter, and a slow-burn romance that eventually ignites into pure fire, this is the addictive journey you have been waiting for.

The way I devoured this book should be studied 😩. There was never a dull moment and the push and pull between the FMC had me kicking my feet. This was my first book by this author and I can say I was not disappointed!!! Just read the book I promise it is 100% worth all your time !!! I hope there are more books to come in the series .

A must read!

This book was soo good! There are plot twists, the spice is so good, and I couldn't put the book down. I wouldn't normally read a book with the dynamic but I am really glad that I did! The angst and tension kept me on the edge of my seat!

Sapphic Romance Debut

This was a delightful find thanks to tik tok. This is the first sapphic story from this author, so I was a little apprehensive going in...but she knocks it out of the park. I hope she continues this series as a sapphic series, because there are definitely characters I want to see find their happily ever afters if possible. Actually the main negative I have for this book is that the majority of side characters are flat and never get a chance to truly shine. The ones that do though are great. Celeste and Noelle were a delightful, toxic af pairing that was fun to read. You don't get the full scope of the toxicness of both of them until the end. They manage to stay away from each other for the first half of the book, and then there is constant leveling up of their romance. There is the lightest dusting of kink in this book, but not as much as the author seemed to be advertising in her tik toks. Still pretty good though. The thing I loved about this book is that she doesn't just focus on the physical aspect of their relationship. She takes pains to develop the emotional connection as well. You can feel them falling in love, not just lust. Another point in this book's favor is the lack of third act breakup. There are several instances where it would have happened for anyone else, but they actually talk and grow as individuals and become closer. It's a breath of fresh air.
