Description

Billie Brown has built her life around precision. As the powerhouse behind a successful, women-only tailoring empire, she measures success in seamless seams and perfectly managed expectations. Having carefully curated her world to avoid the vulnerabilities of her past, Billie controls everything, especially her heart. She lives by a rigid code where mistakes are not an option and emotional distance is a prerequisite for safety. Enter Debra Allen, a woman who has already navigated the complexities of marriage, motherhood, and the quiet rediscovery of her own identity. Debra is done with the performative roles of her youth; she is looking for truth, not a fairytale. When her path intersects with Billie’s, the chemistry is instant, magnetic, and completely inconvenient. As their connection deepens, the walls Billie has constructed start to crumble. With Debra, affection isn’t a trade-off or a trial—it’s a terrifyingly authentic space where Billie is finally forced to face the ghosts she worked so hard to bury. The Full Service is a raw, stirring exploration of what it means to stop surviving and start living. It is a story about the courage required to be truly seen, proving that sometimes the ultimate act of bravery is daring to let love in.

Good Book

Billie owns the tailor shop that keeps her busy and grounded. Her assistant Nina is on board because she gave consent for their time together but only at work. Debra a newly divorced woman who is trying to gain her confidence back makes an appointment for The Full Service. Billie is trying to forget her past and just be a survivor. Debra with the help of Billie learns how to become the confident woman she wants to be and Billie learns that love doesn't have to be with pain and apologies. Real love is caring and showing.

Survival and Love

I was very lucky to get an ARC from Melissa and it was definitely a privilege to read this book. This book has it all, spice galore and a love story that hits you hard but it is so much more! Billie’s story will break you, there was several scenes that were hard to read but you need to know how Billie survived. And then you need to know how Debra teaches her to live! This story is about how one survivor learned that surviving and living is not the same thing. Melissa never ceases to amaze me-each new book of hers quickly becomes my favorite and Billie will live in my mind for a long time!

The Full Service has it all

I love Billie and Debra. Debra is on a journey to discover who she is after divorce. Billie lives her life ensuring she will never be hurt again behind layers of walls. Throughout the story both women continue to grow and learning what they are and are not going to accept for themselves moving forward. Debra continues to find a strength she wasn't always sure she possessed while Billie learns that trust and love is possible for her. The story flows easily, the characters are well written, and there's a good range of emotions along the way to connect to the audience and bring the characters to life.
