Description

Sam has spent the last five years treating every day like a precious gift. Living with a terminal outlook, he approaches life with a vivacious spirit, guided by his tight-knit circle of friends and a bucket list he is determined to finish. He has no room for negativity, which is exactly why he refuses to be deterred by the perpetually grumpy and mysteriously handsome newcomer in town. Sam is drawn to him like a magnet, completely unaware that his new target of affection is anything but ordinary. Lukas is a vampire who has long since grown weary of the monotony of immortal existence. Banished to a small, bustling town by a council he grows to despise, he wants nothing more than to be left alone with his stash of ice cream. Yet, Sam’s relentless sunshine is impossible to ignore. As the two grow closer, the walls around Lukas’s cynical heart begin to crumble, and for the first time in centuries, he craves a future rather than an end. Caught between a life that is rapidly ticking down and an immortality finally worth living, the pair finds themselves fighting a cruel fate. With love blooming on the precipice of tragedy, they must decide if an eternity of regret is better than a moment of perfect joy.

Heartbreaking and funny

To be honest I had to prepare myself to read this book. I lost someone very close to me and I knew this book would trigger me. I absolutely 100% loved this book. Throughout my reading of this book, I cried and laughed and wished that vampires really existed. This is a must read.

Love over ice cream

This was a cute read. I liked that it did not start with insta love. We got to see the relationship grow from the start. There were some in your feels moments with the friends. Overall a good book about a vampire, his human and the love of ice cream.

WOW

I just finished reading The Edge of Goodbye. The character development was wonderful. I read it in one day and could not put it down. The day passed with reading and sobbing and reading and sobbing. I was so disappointed when I was done. Not because it wasn’t a fantastic book, but because it was over. What am I supposed to do now? Maybe I’ll have some ice cream.

Wonderful

A book where magic comes at the right moment in life. For everyone who wishes for a miracle or just wants to find comfort in a story with a happy ending.

Wonderful

I have to say that as soon as I read the last page I went right back to the beginning and started all over again. Your Authors Note made me cry, I hope you are doing better. But it definitely made me really appreciate everything this story entailed. The characters were spot on perfect. This was done so very well, and I am literally begging you to write more Vampire and even some Wolf novels. PLEASE 🙏
