Description

When a high-stakes mob boss and a glamorous movie star collide, the resulting sparks threaten to burn their carefully constructed worlds to the ground. This gripping sapphic romance masterfully blends the refined elegance of Regency-inspired tension with the gritty, pulse-pounding danger of contemporary mafia intrigue. What begins as an unlikely encounter between two women from opposite sides of the law quickly evolves into a complex, high-voltage connection that defies every expectation. Readers have fallen hard for the electric chemistry and the relentless suspense that keeps the pages turning long into the night. It is more than just a standard romance; it is an immersive experience that challenges the boundaries of loyalty, power, and desire. With its lush atmosphere and sharp, emotional stakes, the story lingers in the mind long after the final chapter. Whether you are searching for a slow-burn tension that crackles with intensity or a bold narrative that keeps you guessing, this is the sapphic masterpiece you have been waiting for. Prepare to be completely consumed by a world where the greatest risk is not the criminal underworld, but the vulnerability of falling in love with the one person you were never meant to have.

At first, I wasn't sure if this story about a mob boss and a movie star was my cup of tea, but it didn't take long to discover that it was more than my cup of tea and more like a gigantic kettle of savory tea. The story is different than most romances, the sex is as hot as Melbourne in the summer, and the motivations, experiences and dynamics of the characters, mistressful!

Mafia Queen, yes please!

Honestly, i'm not even sure what to say about this book right now because i'm still processing everything. It was just sooo good!!! Ruby always has more than "just" a romance in her books, but the mafia plot was next level. And call me crazy, but Estella was the best. I really don't want to say tooo much about the story, because I don't want to give anything away, but OMG it was just so good. And the spice?! The spice?! She took that up a notch too in my opinion. As book 2 in the series I also loved getting glimpses into the lives of our favorite messy friend group and seeing how everyone is doing. She blended two separate stories seamlessly together and I ate it up. Obviously 5 stars.

Absolutely loved this book

One of my all time favorite sapphic stories. I have some suspicions about who it might be (very) loosely based on and finding out those are true is the only thing that could make it better. Twists and turns until the very end, expertly written dialogue that rarely felt clunky, the right balance of plot, smut, and character development. Cannot wait to read more from this author
