I feel like my heart was ripped out of my chest, torn into pieces, chewed up, and put back in my chest but it in the best way!
In the beginning, when Evan and Caleb were denying their mate connection I kept screaming at them and giggling. Them keeping their distance from one another made the acceptance and growing love even sweeter.
The mental health that was represented had a big impact on the story. It especially needed to be addressed so Evan and Caleb can find that healthy boundary and know each other limits before they commit to their relationship. I also appreciate therapy that comes into the picture. Caleb understanding that he can’t be the only one that can help Evan, and later on Evan even encourages Caleb to go the therapy. Both of them encourage each other that seeking help isn’t a sign of weakness but to better their outlook for their own health.
This story has made me shed all my tears and now I just wanna reread it again but with no memory of reading it.

MY THOUGHTS
This is a new-to-me author, and I wasn't sure what to expect by jumping into an existing series where the first two books were MF. I never once felt lost in the story, and I really enjoyed this book! Honestly, outer appearance aside, both MCs are complete sweethearts. Both have past trauma weighing them down, and the author does a great job writing them with empathy and care. They're both flawed characters as well, which the author doesn't shy away from, which I like in my MCs. I don't want picture-perfect, cookie-cutter characters; I want people who screw up and make mistakes and grow from it. Everyone stumbles around when they're falling in love, and I like books that show that as well. The MCs are adorably spicy together, too, with lovely on-page chemistry.
BOTTOM LINE
I can't speak to the first two books in the series, but I'd give this a read for sure. And if you're also a fan of MF, hopefully you'll give the whole series a chance.

Thanks to Savanna Rose for an…
Honestly had some ups and downs with this. There’s one scene I thought would come back up as there was mention of specific powers but it was never brought back up or mentioned.
Definitely a slow burn and bully romance. It is cute though. I could take it or leave it as a kind of eh book.
Decent writing though!

What an amazing story, I have only read this one. I had no idea this is the third book of a saga. I think this book is amazing and it can be read as a standalone book. Even though I have no idea what happens in the other books I still have a base understanding of the story because of how good the writing is. 5 stars all around.
This was such an amazing and interesting read.
Love me a good fated mates story, and this one gave me everything I wanted.
Evan has gone through many traumatic things because of his brother's actions; it has affected him deeply mentally and emotionally. He's just a precious broken boy, and I loved him so much.
Caleb is such an amazing character; he’s more than what meets the eye. He is also dealing with a lot of heavy things thanks to his father, who is the most despicable person ever, and will have to make many sacrifices and decisions that are not easy to make.
These two fight with everything their destiny to be fated mates, that being something that neither of them expected, but little did they know that it was just what they needed.
How they started to get closer was done so perfectly; they start to notice things about one another that make them realize so many aspects of each other, allowing them to slowly open up.
It’s not an easy path for these two to get their HEA; it left me with so many emotions, and I loved every second of it. They beautifully develop a fantastic relationship and are able to heal not only with the strong bond they formed but also by seeking professional help to better themselves.
Overall, these two were amazing, and the story had such a great mental health discussion, and I appreciated how it was handled. Love Evan and Caleb so much!!
