Description

Raven thought she understood the rules of magic, but the Council has just shattered her reality. Stripped of her familiar abilities and forced into the unpredictable role of a Seer, she finds herself wandering a world that no longer makes sense. Without guidance or a safety net, Raven must navigate a perilous path where every vision is a potential trap and every choice could be her last. This second installment shifts the perspective, placing you directly inside Raven’s headspace as she grapples with her newfound power and an unexpected, simmering attraction that threatens to distract her when she needs focus the most. The stakes are higher than ever, yet the story remains grounded in the warmth and charm that fans of the series adore. You will encounter the same witty, whimsical tone that defined the first book, complete with those fan-favorite, side-splitting snippets from the perspective of a very opinionated cat. This is a story about finding one's footing in the face of impossible odds, discovering love where it is least expected, and surviving the tests that define us. Whether you are here for the heart-pounding romance or the enchanting magical mystery, Raven’s journey offers a perfect blend of high-stakes fantasy and cozy, intimate connection.

Tested for love

Book 2 is the telling from the protagonists experiences. The Council has swapped Ravens magic to Seen without direction of any kind. A test that has unknown repercussions to both characters. How they survive will determine if they will be allowed to live. I loved the plot. I recommend this book.

A new favorite author

Just like the first book, at random you get snippets from the cats perspective which is beyond hilarious. This author has found an interesting part of magic not commonly explored and develops a world that is beyond anything you could be ready for. I am eagerly waiting for number 3 because yes, vampires.
